  • Didn't even get to open the box
Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Head
Make sure you double check the box. Something small poked through and dented the grill. Update: attempted to re-purchase the grill from a different vendor and the price went up $100. Unfair!

  • Quality Grill for a Good Price with Fast Shipping!!
Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Head
First impressions: quality grill for a good price with fast shipping thanks to Amazon! The box arrived with some crumbled corners but I was relieved to find no dents, dings, or scratches on the grill. For shipping purposes, the burners are cotter-pinned into place so they do not rattle around inside the grill. (The customer then removes these and likely won't need them again.) My two outside burners and cotter pins had broken free and were laying in the bottom of the grill. This could have caused damage to the grill and/or burners but once again, luckily I did not see any. There are 7 sets of studs (2 studs in each set), 3 sets for the heat shields and 4 sets for the flame tamers. Three of my studs had presumably come loose during shipping; I found the studs, their washers, and two of their nuts scattered inside the box and packing material but I could not find the last nut and had to make a trip to my local big box store. Needless to say, packaging could have been better but at least nothing major occurred. After setting up my grill and handwashing the internal parts, I cleaned the outside with Citrushine Stainless Steel Polish - Streak-Free Metal Surface Cleaner - 12 oz Non-Toxic . (This will ensure that your grill looks shiny and new so when your wife asks how much money you spent on the grill, she will be blinded by its beauty and not mad.) Next, I cranked up all four burners to high and closed the lid for about 5 minutes, per the operating instructions. During that short ~5 minutes, the internal temperature reached 500+ degrees! One small issue: Amazon's product description states "Smoker Box included" and mine did not come with one. I contacted Amazon customer support and at first the rep insisted that the only resolution was to have me send back my 130 pound grill for refund or replacement. Once I pointed out that Amazon sells/ships the missing smoker box for $11.13, the rep issued me a promotional certificate for that amount. I effortlessly grilled some hamburgers and hot dogs for Labor Day weekend; I will get more adventurous once I get more familiar with the grill. So far, I have been very impressed by this well-built, no frills (ie. blue LED lights) grill and look forward to using it for a long long time! Five year update: still happy with the grill!! ... show more

  • Very well built
Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Head
This is a sweet grill. It is really heavy duty and well built. I like it a lot and I don't really have any complaints. I've had it at least 6 months now and it still looks good. It doesn't look new anymore, with a little discoloration on the sides, but the lid has no discoloration at all, and in general it still looks really good. It functions well I think. Fairly even heat. The piezo ignitors are just ok. They haven't failed me yet so they work, but usually not on the first click. I would buy this grill again. Especially for the price when you compare it to other similar grills. Edit: I've had the grill 3 years now. The thermometer stopped working at least a year ago. 2 of the 4 burners are shot. The problem is a defect in the cast iron burner... there is a half inch hole at the back of the burner. The hole in a new burner is just an indentation but the metal there is too thin and rusts out prematurely. If I could figure out a way to plug the hole, the burner would be fine. But I haven't figured anything out yet so I may be ordering new burners. For spending over a grand, it's too soon to be replacing burners. ... show more

  • Great bbq
Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Head
This is for the four burner natural gas bbq. Purchased this 3 months ago. This gets hot fast. 560 in less than minute. Tempature gauge is right on. No flare ups. I cook bye time and bye temature. Chicken and steak comes out perfect. You can bake bye turning off one side of the grill. I clean the outside of the grill with degreaser and a sponge. Comes out clean and shiny. I marenate my meat in soy sauce and I grill 6 pounds of chicken at a time. Then when it’s time I add bbq sauce. I would say that 95 percent of the drippings gets burnt and never make it to the drip pan. This is the best bbq I have ever owned and at 65 years old. I have had a lot of them. ... show more

  • My grill for the next 20yrs!
Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Head
This thing is a beast. After using a standard "consumer" grade grill purchased from a local big box store, we finally got tired of the flash grease fires, the rust, the ruined meat, and the coat-hanger thin wire rack. This Bull grill is monstrous. The grill rack consists of stainless steel rods that are roughly 1/4" diameter. the grate doesn't bow, rust, degrade, at all. A wet sponge and a wire brush has everything shiny and new in minutes. The lid is substantial. No rocking or bowing as you lift it. You can tell that the construction is solid. The ONLY thing keeping this from being a 5-star are the grease shields above the burners. Grease can sometimes collect on them and flash when the burners are on high. Gives a great sear on stakes but you have to watch burgers with a high fat content and adjust the heat accordingly. ... show more

  • Excellent choice - well built
Style: Natural Gas Pattern Name: Head
Fantastic choice for a built-in grill. Pros: Solid, well engineered - the lid is heavy (in a good way) Heats quickly and with a lot of ability to control the temperature Impressive ability to HOLD the temperature consistent (compared to our previous built in grill) Cons: ??? Literally, cannot find a con. I suppose I would prefer cast iron cooking grates, but then the price would need to be much higher. This is a great grill in every way. Be sure to buy the correct one (natural gas v. LP). ... show more
