Have not used the product yet, but I saw comments around charging the battery. The buddy itself is a charger. Directions inside state to insert battery turn device on and off and you can plug the wall charger into the device (buddy). This will trigger the charging functionality.

I was very excited to buy this product as I have seen this advertised and it had great reviews on their website . I used it 1 time and it was fan was very powerful along with the mist . Just like most misters , make sure it is setup higher and be aware that everything below it will be drenched . I did find it to be very loud , and was worried it would be a distraction . Also , I wish it had multiple speeds . Anyways , all of that does not matter because on the second day the switch button to turn on got jammed and I needed to return it . I cannot believe that for the price . Honestly , I was scared to have it damaged by a flying ball or a kid knocking it over because of how expensive it was . You can get a very similar item for much less and not worry having to babysit it . This product was a huge disappointment. ... show more

    • Decent fan; but the atomizer nozzle is problematic

I love the idea of this fan and bought it on the recommendation of a couple of neighbors; but have discovered a problem. The atomizer nozzle worked one time then stopped. This also happened to the neighbors who recommended this fan; one of whom bought extra atomizers/nozzles, though I couldn't find them on the company's website. I changed the atomizer nozzle out for the extra one that came with the fan and that one worked twice, then stopped. I use filtered water, so it shouldn't be clogging. There are no instructions on how to fix this problem. I even did an extensive online search. I tried calling technical support at the company and after being on hold for several minutes, sent a text as that was the advice on the recording. I will update this review if/when I get a response from the company. ... show more

I love this fan and mister! The day it arrived I opened it up, and got it ready. It was an immediate hit as we sat around the outside table in the late June heat! What really blew me away, even more than the power of the fan itself, was the battery life. We have used it for several hours a day since we received it, and its still running on the charge it came with in the box. I would HIGHLY recommend this item. If you need to cool off for the summer this is the way to do it! This works so well, it's absolutely awesome! The mist is perfect on those especially hot days. It's compact and doesn't take up a lot of space. The only thing weighing this down is the water and because of its size it's still easy to move. The battery lasts so you can have this on all day! This is the larger battery size, great! But it doesn't come with an actual battery charger. Why sell a product with a battery but without a way to charge it? Absolutely ridiculous. And it's smaller than you're led to believe. Haven't even used it yet. Bc I need it this weekend and I can't charge it again so can't test the battery. It does come with a cord. So great, I can let the cord get wet and have to be close to an outlet. Very disappointing. ... show more
