The product was carefully packaged. Everything looks good as advertised. I like that its complete. The water tray is nice and works well. In between watering every 2-3 days I set it on my windowsill. I normally don't order plants online after having a few bad experiences but I've been wanting a Ginseng Bonsai for awhile now. So I took a chance and ordered this one, it was a great description of the plant and I liked what I had seen and the price wasn't bad either! When my Ginseng Ficus tree arrived, the idiot delivery guy brought it at night and without a notification my poor plant sat outside my door overnight! Thankfully here in Pennsylvania it wasn't too cold yet, but in the morning when I found it, it was cold. I quickly brought it inside and sat it by my oven which was warm from my baking. The plant sat there all day and by night it seemed fine. It was wrapped securely around the base with Saran Wrap to keep the soil in the small nursery pot,it was wet but not soggy for the trip to me. The plant hadn't been harmed by the cold because the box also had some stuffing inside to keep the plant from bumping around... I was so impressed by the quality and care given to the plant for its shipping, that I just ordered another one as a Christmas gift for a friend! Needless to say I'm very happy with this purchase, see my tree in the photo, it's been transplanted into a new pot by me and he is so handsome! THESE POOR LIL BONSAI TREES ARRIVED, SICK, LEAVES FALLING AND FULL OF GNATS. AT FIRST, I DID NOT SEE THE GNATS BECAUSE THEY'RE SO SMALL THAT THEY'RE PRACTICALLY INVISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE, BUT THANKFULLY I HAD STICKY MICE TRAPS PREVIOUSLY SET ON MY FLOOR AND THE NEXT DAY I NOTICED ALOT OF TINY DOTS STUCK ONTO THE STICKY MOUSE TRAP, SURE ENOUGH, THEY WERE GNATS, SO I TOOK A CLOSE LOOK AT THE BONSAI TREES AND THESE GNATS CAME FROM THESE TREES, AS I DID NOT HAVE ANY OTHER PLANTS IN MY HOME AND I'M SURE GLAD I DID NOT, OTHERWISE ANY PLANT IN MY HOME WOULD HAVE BEEN INFECTED. I HAD TO THROW THESE POOR LIL TREES AWAY, THEY WERE DYING, IF NOT ALREADY DEAD, THE LEAVES WERE FALLING OFF THE POOR BONSAI AND GETTING RID OF THE GNATS WAS GOING TO BE HELL, A HELL THAT I WAS NOT WILLING TO GO THROUGH, NOT NOW, NOT TOMORROW, NOT EVER!!! ***WARNING*** - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. ... show more

This tree actually turned out really great. I was super hesitant, just ordering it off. Amazon seemed a little weird, but I was so happy with how it arrived. His package neatly and the tree safe and well packed. Several weeks later it is still alive, so no bad shock from the delivery or when it was packaged. it doesn’t have a bunch of yellowing or dead leaves on it, just a really pretty plant. Now we just have to keep it alive lol ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Wow! This is an amazing plant. They package it very well as you can see. Great value for the price. The plant is healthy and alive with arrival. It was handled with such care and came wet. Bigger than expected. Edit: it dried up and lost all its leaves with in a few days of receiving it. Not sure if we gave it to much sun. Hoping it comes back to life. Looks super dead right now. ... show more
