This arrived on time and packaged very good. It is just what my dad wanted. It was still moist and the leaves were good. A few fell of but that is to be expected. I think that was a great price for a 3 year old bonsai. At least it makes him happy. We shall see if he can keep it alive.

I'm very happy with this purchase. The plant is very healthy, and was packaged well. Cane in a navy blue pot... nice surprise! Soil was moist and didnt move during shipping. I can find no fault with this at all. This would make a great gift for a plant lover!

The plant was packed well with the pot wrapped in plastic to hold in the soil and foam peanuts to protect the plant. The pot and saucer are as pictured and good quality. However, the soil mix was inappropriate for the plant type, mostly peat, and shipped saturated so the plant was severely stressed and most of the roots have died of hypoxia. I have repotted it in 80% perlite/lava which can properly drain and it may still recover but it’s not looking good. It had dropped nearly all its leaves and the stems and trunk are shriveling. ... show more

    • Great plant but shipping damage
I ordered this as a gift for my teen granddaughter in recognition of her achievements in FFA and her love of plants. I love dwarf jades and have found them easy to grow. Unfortunately, this plant arrived with the box on its side (there was no THIS SIDE UP on the box) and although I could see care was given to the packaging, many of the side branches were broken, and some of the soil had fallen away. It is still an OK looking plant, but I am disappointed; I can imagine how full it had been when packed and wish it had arrived intact. ... show more

I ordered the Jade plant, which is supposed to be a very hardy plant. When it arrived, the stems of about 10-12 leaves had broken and the leaves were hanging by a thread. The plant I received was technically 4-6" tall, but it was nowhere near as filled out as the jade plant pictured. Instead of the nice round treetop, the one I received has a few branches and looks a little spindly. i would not give it as a gift in its current condition, it's going to need some TLC before it looks pretty. I don't know enough about jade plants to tell if it's actually 3 years old or not. The decorative pot is nice, but it has drainage holes in the bottom and does not come with a matching tray. I bought it as a desktop plant and I'm fairly sure I won't find a ceramic piece to put under it that is the same color and shape as the pot, so I'll probably have to put a plastic tray under it which will not look as nice. So that is a disappointment. Waiting a bit to see if I can rehabilitate it before I decide whether to return it. ... show more
