The “non-stick” aspect has a little to do with the pan, and a LOT to do with how you use it. You can’t expect to use this like a conventional nonstick pan (Read below for cooking tips). This is the second piece I’ve ordered from Bruntmor and both items have been of good quality and have come without defect. Packaging was good, no damage from shipping. The pan itself is a lot bigger than I was anticipating. It’s actually wider than my burners which makes the edges of the pan not get hot enough. It’s heavy (obviously) but feels good in your hand. The enamel is smooth and beautiful. I was able to cook scrambled eggs without sticking, then some bacon that got nicely crispy. When I was done it washed clean with hardly any effort. Tips for using this pan (and other enameled cast iron): ALWAYS preheat the pan; If you put food in a cold or lukewarm pan it WILL stick like crazy. You know your pan is hot enough when food sizzles when it’s put in, but not so much that it’s smoking. This pan is close to being nonstick, but you still have to use some sort of oil. You don’t need much, but you can’t put most foods directly into a dry pan. When washing, be SURE you are using a sponge or brush that is non-scratch. I recommend a plastic bristle brush with a scraper, or the BLUE scotch pads/sponges. The green scotch pads (or anything abrasive) will leave tiny scratches in the enamel which will cause rough spots where food will start to stick horribly. All in all: buy it! These cast iron pans are wonderful. I had several old non-stick pans that were so worn I was worried about the Teflon falling off. I got these and was amazed. They take a minute to warm up and distribute the heat, but when they are ready they cook so much more evenly vs. the old flimsy non stick pans. Read the seasoning and cleaning instructions to keep them in good shape. They don't clean up quickly as the old cheap pans did, but if you take care of them they will probably last longer than you will! ... show more

I love the Bruntmor products, very well made, reasonably priced, etc. This pan is amazing. However, it is very heavy for a woman’s wrist-hands. I was going to return it for this reason only. I was past the 30 days so will keep and carefully use it.

I love the quality of the pans and the easy cleanup, these are right up there with high-dollar ones with durability but I didn't have to pay an outrageous price for great quality. I sauté vegetables on the cook top and roast diced sweet potatoes in the oven with this pan. Last night I used it to make hash from leftovers. I've been using this pan near daily for about 5 months. I opened the box and was greeted with this (see picture). I dont know how it got out the factory doors like this. Other than this it looked perfectly fine. And seemed decent in quality. I emailed the manufacturer regarding the 1 year warranty they supposedly have. And even went to their website and tried starting a chat. I got a message that when I get a reply I will receive an email notification. 5 days later and no reply from the manufacturer via email or a notification for a chat reply. I am understanding on time zone differences so that is why I waited 5 days before writing this review. Manufacturer obviously does not care about their products. ... show more
