  • Just a printer
Style: HL-L8360CDWT (2 Trays)
The printer is great! I use this in my office, it's the 1st printer that can keep up with my work load. I do want to point out its JUST a printer. No copier, no scanner.

  • I LOVE THIS PRINTER
Style: HL-L8360CDWT (2 Trays)
First of all, I own MANY printers, and I have owned about 20 different color laser printerS (HP, Xerox, older Brothers). I am a printer fanatic, and currently have about 8 in operation in my real estate office. I LOVE THIS PRINTER!!! Setup was very easy (for wireless printing), or for USB. The instructions were clear, and the printer set itself up all on it's own. The time to 1st page out for full color printing is about 20 seconds, which while not the fastest on the planet is great for me, as I print LONG print jobs (mail merge letters of 1200 pieces at a time). The print quality is superb! I compared it side-by-side to output from a Xerox Versant 80 (a $70,000 printer), and the Brother prints we better! The cost per page is outstanding! Using 3rd party Super High yeild toner (which works great), the cost per page for full color is less than $.02/pg. I have printed a couple of thousand pages so far in the first few days, and everything is working. The rated print speed is 33 pages/minute. On long print jobs the actual was more like 29 pages/minute as the printer stops to cool down from time to time. A couple of minor complaints I have: 1. The output tray only holds about 200 sheets. I wish it were bigger. 2. There is no "tray full" sensor to stop printing when the tray is full (the top of the printer). If you don'y keep removing the output as it prints on large jobs, the output pages go all over the floor. 3. The printer produces a slight curl in the printed pages, particularly with heavier stock.. Other than that, I love this printer! ... show more

  • It's not fast, but it prints quality
Style: HL-L8360CDWT (2 Trays)
This printer is not fast, but it does print equality picture and image on normal documents. With the additional paper tray you can hold a full ream of paper or use one of the trays for legal size. The front paper feeder also works very well. We have found that the printer goes faster when it is hooked directly to a network through USB. The Wi-Fi buffering times are pretty slow, but that's normal for most Brother printers that we have found. ... show more

  • Great printer
Style: HL-L8360CDWT (2 Trays)
It was easy to set up. But, it doesn't copy ! I need that function. My husband didn't keep the packaging. So we will keep it. Brother is a great brand. We would recommend it.

  • Damaged product was shipped by MoMo
Style: HL-L8360CDWT (2 Trays)
We rate this transaction as 1-star, both due to the intentional neglect by MoMo in resolving the matter that they sent us damaged product, as well as the lack of professional customer support / service from Amazon. Although the exterior of the printer, itself, did not appear to be damaged, we should have taken our indications from the condition of the packaging, with the item was delivered. Due to business trips, we were not able to immediately confirm the functionality of the printer. However, once we were able to assemble and set-up the printer, according to the manufacturer's instructions, we starting noticing items and behaviors, of the printer, which are not consistent with an undamaged product. These items are not noticeable from the outside of the printer, and were also not noticeable until we needed to remove the toner drum in order to try to replace the color toner cartridges (the printer was not printing color properly). We quickly discovered that we could no longer remove the toner drum, nor open the front cover of the printer fully, as what would be normal. Brother instructed us to take the printer to an officially authorized Brother service center, which we did. Quickly, upon taking a quick look at the machine (not open the machine), they were able to determine that the printer had obviously been shipped to us in an ALREADY DAMAGED condition. We requested a refund from MoMo, which they denied and asked why we waited 'so long' to report this to them (they claimed it had been one month, when in fact, it had been less than 21 days since original receipt of the printer). We provided them a full account of what we discovered. MoMo has not responded back to us since that correspondence, but has rather continued to ignore us, and tell Amazon that they deny our refund request. Amazon, on their part, has had multiple customer service personnel, who have consistently either not practiced due diligence towards fully understanding the issue, or they have taken the wrong steps towards resolving our issue. 1. Amazon has not only allowed the seller a full 48 hours to respond to a refund request, but has reissued refund requests 3 times! 2. After the 2nd time which Amazon filed a refund request to MoMo, we spoke directly with Amazon, who then filed an A-to-Z Guarantee claim against MoMo. This was filed on November 1, 2021. On November 3, 2021, Amazon denied the A-to-Z Guarantee claim stating that a refund request was in process.... FOR THE THIRD TIME! 3. On November 3, 2021, we have spent nearly 4 hours on the phone, interrupting our business, trying to get clarity to this situation. Amazon took note of our complaints and the full timeline of events, once again, and then filed an appeal on the denied A-to-Z Guarantee Claim, but placed the claim and appeal on the Allstate Protection Plan!!! (WHY?!) Our claim is with MoMo and we request a full refund for the printer, which we purchased as a new product WITH the Allstate protection plan. Therefore, we are calling Amazon AGAIN and have been on the phone for another 25 minutes while the current Amazon representative attempts to correct the mess that her colleagues have caused. As a family, we will NEVER purchase a printer / scanner / copier through Amazon ever again. This has been the worst experience we have ever had with Amazon and an Amazon Seller. Amazon... Please PROPERLY rectify this issue. Did MoMo knowingly send us a damaged product and they are denying responsibility and avoiding the customer? They have not engaged us any further after October 27, 2021, which leads to the perception that they know they have conducted themselves improperly. Why is Amazon not properly taking care of us? This matter is being reported to the State Attorney General's Office (State of California and Nebraska) as well as the FTC (Federal Trade Commission - Consumer Protection Agency). This is also being reported to the Better Business Bureau. ... show more

  • Excellent engineering evident immediately as you unbox the thing
Style: HL-L8360CDWT (2 Trays)
My Brother B&W "laser" printer has been running without any problem whatsoever for 12 years now. Where my Lexmark color laser - same price range as this but lesser duty cycle - started jamming after the first year. So when I finally got tired of the jamming I bought this Brother color laser to replace it. This is a quick review based only on the setup. You could tell on the unboxing that this thing was engineering for quality in all respects. The simple instructions had me open the thing up to remove precisely designed orange plastic braces keeping the pre-installed toner cartridges rigid during shipping. They held the cartridges - and some other moveable parts - rigid for safety yet popped right off when it was time to remove them. The printer mechanisms that are exposed when you're fiddling with the toner cartridges look totally excellently designed too, but the care taken to make sure the printer was _shipped_ and _delivered_ safely and yet was still _easy_ to unbox and set up was reassuring and convincing. Set up of the lower paper tray was trivial too - just drop the printer over it and done. I expect toner to cost significantly less than the Lexmark's toner too. Very happy so far and I expect that to continue. ... show more
