  • Quality filter / Great value
Color: White
I wanted to cut back on buying bottled water and decided on a pitcher filter. I looked at several filters before deciding on the Brita 6 Cup Water Filter Pitcher. This pitcher is supposed to filter out impurities and contaminants found in tap water. I really like the size of the pitcher it’s easy to handle and pour. The handle is comfortable and the lid fits snug. It fits in the refrigerator or countertop and doesn’t take up a lot of space. The pitcher is made from BPA-free. It comes with a standard filter that was easy to install. The manual suggests changing filter every 2 months or 40 gallons. Its easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. I like the reset with flashing green/red light so you don’t forget to change the filter. The water does taste a lot better out of the filter than the tap. We refill the pitcher two or three times per day. Only 40 gallons per filter so order extra filters. Overall, the quality is good, it’s easy to use and clean. I would highly recommend the Brita water filter pitcher. ... show more

  • Convenient, and Great-Tasting Water
Color: White
This Brita pitcher is perfect for small spaces like apartments or dorms. It fits easily in the fridge and holds just the right amount for one or two people. The filter improves the taste of tap water noticeably, and it’s easy to refill and clean. I also love that it’s BPA-free and comes with one filter to get started. A simple, effective way to stay hydrated with cleaner water — great value and very user-friendly! ... show more

  • Filter change indicator goes off pretty early
Color: White
There's just 2 of us here, and we use the pitcher almost exclusively for making coffee and tea. So I added up our usage years ago, and I figured I need to change the filter every 5 months. And that seems to work. The water is still good tasting, although the pitcher gets dirty and it seems like a good time to wash it out and make the change. Now I've had this new one 3 months and the indicator says I need to change the filter. Accurate? Or do they just want to sell filters? Beyond that, a pretty nice pitcher. And it does a nice job of taking chlorine and presumably other bad stuff out of the water. Coffee tastes a lot better without chlorine. ... show more

This pitcher is designed to filter out impurities, such as chlorine, sediment, and other common contaminants found in tap water, resulting in a refreshing and crisp taste. One of the standout features of this pitcher is its compact size, which makes it perfect for small households or for those with limited counter space. The 6-cup capacity is also ideal for those who don't want to waste water by constantly refilling a larger pitcher. The pitcher is made from BPA-free plastic, which means it's safe to use and won't leach harmful chemicals into your water. The included standard filter is easy to install and lasts for up to 40 gallons, or approximately 2 months, depending on your usage. • Recommended with slight hesitation
Color: White
I’m not an expert in water filters but I do know that I take water taste seriously. There are many big name brand water bottle companies that have gross tasting water! This makes my faucet water taste good - not great. I want to contribute to a better future for our children so I invested in my Takeya water bottle (which puts Hydro-you-know to shame). I included it for size comparison. This water pitcher is small, perfect for a medium mini fridge or a countertop. If you’re on an extreme hydration quest such as myself you may find refilling it tedious; luckily it filters very quickly. It’s simple and sleek. Getting the unit apart is difficult but after googling - it can be done! Personal con: The pour spout is open all of the time. I wish it had a little flip top that doesn’t lock shut (that’d take away ease of pouring) but at least I wouldn’t have to check it every time. (Not a huge deal - just saying). Summary: Quick filtering, simple to use, small footprint, cleanable, not for extreme water drinkers (have to refill a lot). Wish it had a flip top cover. I am happy with this purchase. Good value. ... show more

  • Great!
Color: White
I got this as a replacement for a sink faucet filter that no longer fit on a new faucet. It was ugly anyway. I have a baby in the house and we wanted filtered water for his bottles. The Berka pitcher seemed like the easiest and most straightforward option. “Setting it up” was fine just read the instructions. Rinse it out first, let water run over the filter, etc. Do it right. So far no issues and is easily refilled and holds lots of water. I don’t have any kind of water testing supplies so I hope that it is actually filtering our water. We temporarily live in an area of Long Island w a nasty factory plant that contaminated the ground water 50 years ago and was covered up. It is all being exposed now but it’s too late people already have developed cancers living here. And of course this is where we end up right when j have a baby. We are hightailing it out of here this summer but hopefully this filter is doing its job. We do use cases of bottled waters too but this pitcher is good for everyone to use not jsut baby. ... show more
