Start off by saying I hardly ever write reviews (probably less than 10 in my life), but I love these lights. We started off by putting them on our deck, which create a warm feel rather than provide a lot of light (last pic). In fact, if you have decent ambient light from anything, the amount of light you get from these will hardly be noticeable. However, we liked these so much that we bought an additional set to either bring with us or put a second set on our deck and string it further. We’ve since morphed that into camping trips and a teenager’s sleepover party. The girls loved it in their little area downstairs. The camping trip is where we benefited most from this. We just had to disconnect the solar panels and take them with us during the day so they could charge though. The pictures attached have a long exposure so the light isn’t actually that bright, but bright enough to help anyone that needed to get up at night and find their way around. If you’ve been tent camping with minimal moonlight, you know what I mean. These are perfect for that. Overall, these are fantastic. Easy to set up, we take them with us, and they look great. The battery will last throughout the night easily. Weather has been no issue at all. As I mentioned before, the only con is that it doesn’t generate as much light as I would’ve liked, but the payoff would probably be less battery life.

These look so good I gave one to a friend as a gift in my mom. Attached another set to her house and a beautiful zigzag and it just looks so cozy out her back windows. They’re not extremely bright because they’re solar, but I like that it just gives you the ambience.

I wish I could give these 10 stars. I have owned them for 5 years and they’re still working. My kids have thrown them around, dogs ate them up and completely chewed through the wires and they STILL work amazing and light up my fence line like new. Just blown away I had to write a review

INITIAL REVIEW - I love these lights, they were super easy to install, the solar power is accurate as it states, it poured down rain today and sure enough, they’re weatherproof, there wasn't any water inside the bulbs, they produce a nice soft glow and they look great. No complaints. *************************************************** UPDATE 12/26/2020: One strand of these lasted 6 months and is no longer working, I’m extremely disappointed because I loved it! Water and condensation ended up getting in some of the bulbs. *************************************************** UPDATE 5/25/2021 I was so upset and disappointed my lights died after 6 months but I reached out to Brightech customer service and they were excellent! The Brightech rep understood the issues I was having and emailed me a list of things to try, she narrowed it down to a bad solar panel and mailed me a replacement one under warranty. I let the solar panel charge for a day after attaching it to the bad strand and now they all work and I have a beautifully lit outdoor space again! I asked the rep if she had any suggestions on how to remove the condensation and water and she suggested that I simply twist the bulb out of its socket, remove any water and wipe the inside dry. I felt really silly because I tried that to begin with and one was stuck, so I wasn't sure if it was removable and was afraid that if I pulled on it, it would break. I went back out to try and sure enough, the bulb came off, I emptied any water, wiped them dry and now they're perfect again! Give these lights a try, if you have any issues, reach out to customer service to see if they can help, I had success and now I'm very happy with the lights again!

Base on product reviews, I took a chance. Make sure to turn on before mounting solar panel. Was able to loop all wiring to existing sun sail mounts. Clipped the solar panel to my gutter for a no tool install. Not as bright as electric powered lights but enough for a soft glow in the area I needed. White light, not yellow but still enough light to set an ambiance without being bright which is what I hoped for. Installed mid-day so enough to charge for tonight. Perhaps they'll be brighter tonight but no matter. It's sufficient light to sit outside on cool autumn nights. May need to purchase more. I love that the bulb covers are durable plastic in case of high winds, nothing breaks. Durable housings and cord! I can see why it's so highly rated! Oh and I bought the 3 year warranty just in case. Solar lights are rarely reliable in the long term.

Installing these was pretty simple. During the summer months they were terrific. 6 hours of battery was pretty common. In the winter, not so much. We're lucky to get 3. We have two separate strings with both panels in pretty direct sun, I'm hopeful that they bounce back when the days get longer again. Good easy lights but if you want to entertain outdoors later in the evening in winter, I would look elsewhere
