This was returned...even though I loved it and it was gorgeous, the switch is on the cord which did not work for my desk situation.

    • Base isn't heavy enough to adjust lamp
I bought 2 of these to use on the top shelf of our newly installed wall shelves. My intention was to adjust them forward a little to cast some light on the shelf below. Be aware though, that you cannot position these lamps in any position other than straight up or they will fall forward. The base does not have enough weight to support the lamp even if it is only slightly adjusted forward. Kept them because they are cute but could not use as intended. Pretty dissapointed as adjustability is the reason I bought these. ... show more

    • Is It Okay to Feel This Way About a Lamp?
I was searching for a desk lamp that met my specific specifications. There were a few contenders but they all disappeared the moment I saw this lamp. I watch a lot of Say Yes to the Dress and they always talk about having the “feeling” when you’ve found your perfect wedding dress and you’ll know it deep within yourself that you’ve found the one. Had no clue what they were talking about. Then I saw this lamp. It was the one. Never thought I’d have wedding dress feels about...ah...lamp... But it has happened. It’s moderately priced and the “brass” finish isn’t extremely rich in color which as it turns out is perfect for my aesthetic. Told you, it’s THE ONE. I was worried about issues with it being top heavy and falling over based on several reviews. But as of now (only 1 day), it hasn’t been an issue for me and has a decent weight and sturdiness. The bulb extending past the light shade isn’t as bothersome as I thought it would have been and I quite like the look of the light bulb peeking out all cute and adorable-like. I’m super content. God I hope some day I feel this way about a wedding dress. Or a groom. Or really anything at all. ... show more
