Description

The Venom 3-15x44 FFP delivers great glass quality, workhorse function, and impressive low- to high-end magnification for rapid transitions between close- to long-range targets. Solid single piece, 34mm aircraft-aluminum tube provides water, fog, and shockproof protection against hard knocks and impacts when racing between stations. Smooth, throw-lever zoom control. Robust turrets with a distinct, tactile feel and an EBR-7C to provide fast ranging and windage corrections. A versatile reticle that fits comfortably in the hands of all users. 1. While firmly holding the turret knob, loosen and remove the turret cap and turret dial using the included tool. DO NOT allow the turret to rotate. 2. Push ring down until seated, then rotate the ring clockwise until it stops. 3. Reinstall the dial, lining up the “0” mark with the reference line on the scope body. 4. Reinstall the center turret cap. Note: Installing the RevStop ring is recommended, but not required to operate the scope. The elevation turret can still be indexed to zero after sight-in even if the RevStop ring is not installed. The Magnification Adjustment Ring is used to change the riflescope’s “power.” The Venom 3-15x44 FFP riflescopes are variable powered optics with a 5x optical design. To adjust your optic’s magnification, rotate the Magnification Adjustment Ring clockwise, or counterclockwise, to increase or decrease the magnification to your desired level. The ocular focus is typically a one-time adjustment used to focus the reticle for maximum sharpness. This adjustment is slightly different for every user. A clearly focused reticle is a critical component for accuracy. When setting up a scope, this should be the first adjustment you make and should only need to be changed from user to user, or if your eyesight changes over time. Use turrets to adjust the point of impact. The Venom 3-15x44 FFP riflescopes use either 1/4 MOA or .1 MRAD turret adjustments on both the Windage and Elevation Turrets. Each click will move the point of impact roughly .25" at 100 yards for MOA, and .36" at 100 yards for MRAD. The turret on the top of the riflescope is the Elevation Turret, which is used to adjust the point of impact up and down. The turret on the right-hand side of the riflescope is the Windage Turret and is used to adjust the point of impact left and right. The Venom 3-15x44 FFP riflescopes come equipped with a Parallax Adjustment Knob located on the left-hand side of the turret housing. When the parallax is properly adjusted, the user should experience no parallax error. Dial the Parallax Adjustment Knob until the target image is as sharp as possible. The yardage numbers on the knob should be used as general reference points only. Check for parallax error by moving your head up, down, left, and right. The parallax is correct if there is no apparent shift between the reticle and the target image. If you notice any shift, adjust the Parallax Adjustment Knob slightly until all shift is eliminated. Our story has always started with you. Every time your heart skips a beat when you’re glassing a mountain and that bull appears; every time you bring us along for range day; and every time you trust us in the line of duty you’re telling the story of what it means to belong to Vortex Nation.

  • Good product.
Style: 3-15x44 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
High quality, and resonoble price.

  • Great scope
Style: 3-15x44 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
The Vortex Venom FFP is an outstanding entry-point for anyone looking to get into long-range precision shooting without the massive price tag of a professional competition optic. The 34mm tube provides a generous amount of adjustment travel, which is essential when you start stretching out toward 1,000 yards. I found the glass clarity to be surprisingly sharp even at the higher end of the 25x magnification, with very little distortion around the edges. The EBR-7C reticle is well-designed and remains proportional to the target as you zoom, making holdovers and ranging much more intuitive. The RevStop Zero System is a huge plus, as it allows for a quick and reliable return to zero after you’ve been dialing for different distances. The included throw lever is a nice touch and makes magnification changes smooth and fast, which is helpful during timed stages or dynamic shooting. While the scope is on the heavier side, that weight contributes to a very solid and durable feel that can clearly handle heavy recoil. The turrets have a tactile and audible click that gives you plenty of confidence when making adjustments in the field. It’s a versatile, high-performing piece of glass that offers incredible value for both target shooters and hunters alike. ... show more

  • Very good for the price.
Style: 3-15x44 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
So far so good. Glass is clear, turrets are much more tactile than I’d thought. Not squishy like the diamondback tactical. The eyebox is very nice and black ring is very thin. We’ll see how durable it is over time but overall this is a very good optic for only $350-ish price range. The only drawback is no illumination but if you want that just get a strike eagle for a little extra money. ... show more

  • Amazing scope for the price
Style: 3-15x44 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
For the price of an FFP (first focal point) this scope is where its at. I've had my reservations of buying a vortex but I was able to hit targets all the way to 1200 meters easily

  • Incredible value!
Style: 3-15x44 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
Amazing optic. First time purchasing a FFP optic and happy that I did. Glass is very nice and the build quality is fantasic so far. Lifetime warranty is just a bonus and was the ultimate determining factor for pulling the trigger.

Incredible optic! Right on par with ole lew pold. Made overseas if that bothers you though.

  • Great budget friendly scope!
Style: 3-15x44 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
This isn't the lightest scope out there, but it is a great scope for the money. I have put this scope on 4 rifles, and I have loved the clarity of the glass and the function of the scope. All of my Vortex scopes have had clear glass, they are very durable, and I love the amount of adjustment these FFP scopes offer. Most of the rifles they are on are mostly used for range shooting, but I'm sure they would perform well for hunting too. ... show more

  • Fantastic scope.
Style: 3-15x44 - EBR-7C (MRAD)
I have two Vortex Venom scopes. If you can do without the lit reticle, these scopes are fantastic. I use them on long range shooting and I love them.
