This lamp is 68 inches (keep that in mind) and is reminiscent of those you find at the big box stores. The base has a liner underneath it for stability, but it's visible from the base. The lanterns have a hard time hanging downward as the lines they hang from curls up. The cost frankly baffles a fellow. I think it is really pretty because in the daylight you see through the "cages" and almost don't notice. But at night, wow, you will have very bright lights. My problem was I did it wrong the first time by putting the first pole into the base....no, not right. Took apart and redid it. I am very pleased with it. Should mention I am 81 years old and still think I can do everything I used to. But it worked out and I really love it.. ... show more

This lamp is so cute and I love the dimmable setting! It really finished off the living room. The bulbs are super bright however, don’t look straight at them! I did not have a remote control for them though, I don’t believe this lamp has that capability

Really cute lamp. The wires that the bulbs hang from were a little curved, so the shades hung a little crooked, but they straightened out with time and everything hangs properly now.
