I bought this as a reading light and I keep it above my bed for reading and for seeing when i need to get up and around in the dark. It is a great reading light and the different light settings are really nice when i need something less bright and that doesn't hurt my eyes as much, the brightest setting is not as bright as i thought it would be when i want to use it for other purposes, but it is a good light, i wish the brightest setting was a bit brighter but for the price it is a good lamp and gets the job done, and the different settings are nice. The arm is a little stiff at first but with more use it become more workable and is convenient when not in use to stay out of the way of things and slim so its not super noticeable all the time. ... show more

I am more than satisfied, big enough, versatile can adopt endless positions by bending, making it suitable for any situation. On the top of that dimmable and...multiple light color temperatures! I sometimes work at my computer desk and I have a sliding keyboard tray. It is dark if I try to work on something on the keyboard tray. I can fold the light and put it behind my keyboard when needed I move my keyboard and use the light. I have it plugged into my USB hub attached to my computer. I'm using it as a light source only. I'm not worried about a power source for charging my phone. I have no complaints, the lamp is easy to use and the folding arm comes in handy when I need to have the light source a little further on my keyboard tray. Inexpensive and gives off good light. The good: I really love the warm to cool and dimmable functions, and the lamp doesn't take up much space on the nightstand. I use it for very gentle warm lighting on migraine days and to color-correct the glare from outside when it's foggy, and it works well for both purposes. The bad: the USB-C port is glitchy as all hell. It started flickering if the cord wasn't *precisely* in the right position a couple months ago, and by now it flickers nearly all the time whether or not anything is even touching the cord. I'm careful to keep cords from tugging on ports as a general rule, but this will start flickering when it's been on for two hours with literally nothing else moving on the desk, or when it's turned on after having been off for two minutes, even if I tape the cord down so it can't move. Maybe mine is just glitchy, but I'm reluctant to buy a second one when the first started having trouble after 3-4 months of very careful use. ... show more

Tried many different plugs and cords to see if that is the problem. Nothing worked, just dead. I may just get another one because the lighting was just so perfect for what I need.
