A good lamp, but a little disappointed it's not brighter. I do love the ability to turn it up or down and change the color of the light. Don't really have a need for the timer, but it DOES work and has 2 settings. My biggest concern is that I can't really put it down closer to my work because it doesn't stay, it keeps falling down. But I suspect I can tighten "something, somewhere" to make it do it. It's fairly compact and doesn't take up as much room as the lamp with the shade I had on my desk previously. It did come with a USB adapter so it can be plugged into a 110 outlet, which is handy. I like that it can fold flat for travel. Would I buy it again?
