This is a great small economical lamp. If the lamp overheated for some, they either recd a defective product or they're using a bulb of too high of a wattage. I've accidentally left it on all night with absolutely no issues. It was barely warm & it's an "old school" bulb currently in it, not an led bulb. Be sure to READ the insert regarding the correct bulb volt & wattage for use. ... show more
