The lamp is perfect.. is bright! It was easy to assemble.. even was able to do it without looking at any instructions.. until I couldn’t figure out why my lamp didn’t look on the top as the pictured one.. the reason was that I had put the top part where the light bulb goes backwards looking up and all you have to do is face down and voila! It fit perfect like in the picture! The lamp is sturdy and looks modern.. I love it and recommend it! I needed light in a dark corner and it transformed the space! This is a great lamp. Easily assembled. My only concern is the floor switch. Not sure how it will hold up over time. Still nice lamp for price.

    • Do not buy this if you are going to rely on the remote control.

The lamp itself is great. Its sturdy and bright and really cute. Assembly is quick and easy. The remote, however, is awful. After about 2 months, it just stopped working. That leaves you with a non dimmable, bright white light. I use a light switch so it wasn't a huge deal, but the hue of the light (now unchangeable because of the now un-paired remote) was awful. I was able to swap out the light bulb for a better one since I'm outside of the return window, but please be aware that the remote is notoriously terrible with this listing. ... show more

I am extremely satisfied with this floor lamp. Size is perfect for a tight corner or smaller space. The white shade could not have been a better option, The silver works well with the airline galley. The quality is 5 stars, The shade went on very easy. The metal is the same hue/color from base to attachment. The base itself tucks neatly under the galley and allows a closer to the wall placement of same. The three light colors satisfy me and a reading third grader. Finally, a lamp that is perfect for us!     • Great Except Bulb

This lamp assembles easily, looks nice, and is sturdy. I got the kind with the foot switch and no remote. Wish I had understood before purchasing how the bulb provided with the lamp works. Every time power is cycled (on/off) to this bulb, it changes light temperature. So if you prefer a certain temperature, say 3000k, every time you want to use this light you have to cycle it on and off (either with the foot switch or with a switched outlet) several times to get back to 3000k. The pattern for consecutive clicks of the foot switch is: 3000K - OFF - 4000K - OFF - 5000K - OFF - (repeat) The same pattern occurrs if you are turning power on/off by another means, such as a switched outlet. This is pretty annoying for an everyday light. Who wants to hit the foot switch 5 times just to turn on the lamp? Makes the bulb useless to me. I replaced the bulb with a regular (fixed temperature) LED bulb and it works perfectly now. Unless you like getting a different light temperature every time you use your lamp, maybe consider a different product. ... show more
