Description

The simplest soundbar system from Bose. Dramatically improving your TV sound doesn't have to be complicated. The CineMate 15 system delivers the sharp, full audio you've been missing, with deep bass you may have never heard from TV before--all from a compact soundbar and hideaway Acoustic mass module. How does a soundbar no longer than a ruler create such a wide soundstage? The four-element speaker array inside works with Bose TrueSpace signal processing to spread sound well beyond the speaker itself. The effect is more like being in a theater, immersed in the action. And if you're playing a video game, the virtual world becomes even more real. While the system fills the room with sound, it takes up very little space. The soundbar fits right in front of your TV and connects with just one cable. Your other components can stay put and connected as is. And the Acoustic mass module can be conveniently placed out of sight. Practically no impact on your room. But the way you experience TV will be forever changed. While you're enjoying the newfound clarity and spaciousness the CineMate 15 system brings you, you'll also notice something entirely new--sounds you can feel. From the pulsating rhythm of a bass guitar to the dramatic effects of an action movie, you'll finally discover the low notes your HDTV couldn't come close to reproducing. All from a hideaway Acoustic mass module you can place almost anywhere in the front of your room, even behind furniture. The universal remote is likely the only remote you'll need for all your sources-Blu-ray Disc player, cable box and more. It's easy to program and easy to use, and it reduces remote clutter. Included: Soundbar (with attached speaker cable), Acoustic mass module, Power cord, Digital optical cable, Analog cable and Universal IR remote with 2 AA batteries.

  • Bose Delivers Again
I wanted a simple sound system for my television and blu ray player. This system fits the bill and delivers a nice crisp sound for television or movies. You get plenty of volume from the sound bar which is only a foot long. The Acoustimass Module gives a great deep bass sound. The Acoustimass Module also has a bass adjustment knob on the back of the unit if you want more bass. Another nice touch was the sound bar has 3 types of inputs on it, optical, co-ax and analog. I ran my blu ray player and 2 gaming systems with Monster Black Platinum HDMI cables to the TV and then ran a Monster optical cable from my TV to the sound bar. I also was able to hook up my Sony CD player directly to the sound bar with Monster RCA cables to the analog input. Good quality cables do make a difference. You can also program the Bose remote to run all your devices. The instruction manual has all the codes you will need to program the remote. I run my system with a Harmony remote which is good also. This is a great simple system for a decent price. ... show more

  • Easy, simple and great sound with clarity
Easy, simple and great sound with clarity. When this came out a few years ago, it was out of my price range. I recently found it on sale and it is worth every penny. Its not a jack of all trades sound bar, but what it does do, it does exceptionally well. I do wish the subwoofer was bluetooth. With this little system, you do not need 7 speakers in your room for great sound. I am a sound snob and I am 100% satisfied with this system. I did try a much cheaper vizio system before buying this and the vizio was complete trash out of the box. Do not waste your time on anything else if this is your price point for a tv speaker system. As for the reviews that say this system is not loud enough, those people should run, not walk to their nearest audiologist and get a hearing test. This system gets loud without distortion with booming base. ... show more

  • 3+ second lag before sound is outputted with this system, loud popping noise when switching between inputs.
The sound is far superior to the TVs speakers. But.... I use Apple TV 2 as my way of watching TV and every time I start a video the speakers take a good 3+ seconds to produce any type of sound. This is especially annoying when I'm watching ESPN and choose to watch an interview and I miss the first few seconds of what is said. I'm not sure if this is an Apple TV and Bose configuration or what. Also, sometimes when I am switching between inputs there is a ridiculously loud BANG noise like the speaker is popping. It is crazy how loud of a pop it is. ... show more

  • This system is wonderful. I have no problems with it
This system is wonderful. I have no problems with it. Sounds absolutely amazing! I live in an apartment and did not want a big 5 or 7 point system because I don't have the space. This does the trick and sounds just as good as the bigger systems. Easy to install as well. And the best part is that the universal remote works with my Samsung TV, Bright House Cable Box and Xbox 360. The only system it doesn't work with is my Xbox One. This is most likely due to this Bose system being available before the Xbox One was released on the market so there is no program code for the gaming system. I have never had the opportunity to game with surround sound and it is awesome. Makes you feel right in the action. And watching tv is wonderful as well. Much better than the crappy standard tv speakers. Bass is adjustable on the back of the Sub so you can dial it as high or low as you like. ... show more

  • Bose In my opinion has a great reputation for having a Superior Product but you will ...
I thought about it a lot before I bought this Model Bose. Bose In my opinion has a great reputation for having a Superior Product but you will pay dearly. For 549$ I thought as a good price. I always read the bad reviews to cut the " petty ". I have to Say This model Bose Is far superior to My Samsung sound bar that now resides In my Kitchen and Is a good Fit for a little 19 Inch TV. The Woofer does indeed give you that wonderful KICK! when Action Dictates. Lil Woof when needed. I only turned It up a little less than half way and I am happy. The Other sound from this small speaker Is also Incredible. I have to say Yes You will be happy. Keep In mind My ManCave Is maybe 15x20. If you have a larger room? Maybe you need upgrade. If I have to say what I don't like: The sound Is the sound. You can not adjust treble or Bass. OK OK you can adjust the Bass volume. It Is what It Is. You can no change the Vocal For example the way you can the others.... Sports, Cinema, Movie, Press Know what I mean? You also can not see the volume. It Is a light thst blinks hen you see the volume up or down. What I do Is turn the volume up to where I like. I turn only TV Treble until I like. I am hard of Hearing!..lol I know I like It when wife asks me turn It down.I ill say YES to a small or Medium room. Then Again I have yet to let IT RIP! If I have a chance? I will buy one for living room TV ... show more

  • Could not be any more satisfied with this system.
I honestly had no idea what I was missing until this. I recently got a new 48" Samsung TV on sale during one of the pre-black friday sales. I had the TV but decided that although it gives out much better sound than your typical flat screen, it was missing something. Did some research on sound bars and most of them were too big to fit on top of my dresser. Then I saw this thing. It was on sale, and apparently retail value is something along 600 dollars or so. I got it for 319 before tax, and shipping was extremely fast. Next day delivery. I could not be more happy with this sound system. It does exactly what I wanted it to do, and despite the reviews saying that Bose isn't worth the money, blah blah blah, it's definitely not true. I would gladly buy another one of these for our living room, but we already have an older sound system in there. The sound quality is great, and bass is out of this world awesome. For a compact system with a super compact yet amazing sounding sound bar, the Bose Cinemate 15 wins it for me. ... show more
