The USB comes with a set of instructions, which did not solve the problem I encountered. The instructions were not clear, lacked substance, and did not work, but the big problem is - whoever wrote the instructions is not a technical writer. A waste of money and a waste of time. My problem actually became worse after I used the USB. I think it destroyed the BIOS on my Acer Nitro5 17" laptop. After use I can no longer access the bios. Before I used the device I was able to access the BIOS I'll trash the laptop. EXPENSIVE and useless device. Go to their website before you purchase and read their instructions,. This little guy really saved my a--. All of my son's family photos and all of my passwords were on my Lenovo G500 laptop when it crashed. I was sick over it. Don't know what happened but after I downloaded a couple of recording software programs it wouldn't boot back up. To make it worse it was stuck on "Preparing Automatic Repair" for hours and hours so there wasn't much online to help me with that problem. I was pretty much on my own. Got to know a little about the BIOS and once I had everything set right it booted up to the solution window. I chose to repair and it took a couple hours but it cleaned it up and I got my laptop back. ... show more

I ordered this to upgrade an older PC that would no longer boot up Windows 7. The hope was to upgrade to Windows 10 but it could not fix the problem- only a clean install was possible. During the process, there was an issue with partitioning the hard drive and the setup process was stuck in an infinitie loop and wasn't able to restart the installation process. An email to support was returned in a few hours and then another email later in the day to re-image the USB drive. Both times they provided links to correct the problem. After resolving the issues, Win10 is sucessfully installed. Support was helpful and fast. I only give 4 of 5 stars for "Easy to Use" because this process isn't for non-technical folks- in other words, you can't simply plug in USB drive and click start. You need to be able to modify BIOS settings as well as understanding drive partitions. ... show more
