I tried all of the 50 to 100 dollar sit up benches on Amazon as of October 2019 and I can honestly say this one is the best. I returned everything else (thanks Prime!) and kept this one. The ability to reposition both feet allows for different postures and also allows you to fold it up and put it away nicely. The way the shin braces are positioned is the best fit. The width of the bars is the best out of all the rest. This one allows you to spread your knees more than any other bench (its the most wide). I was searching for a decent inexpensive ab board to use on a daily basis, to work on my stomach. I was skeptical about this product not knowing how "durable" it would be however, I am very satisfied and happy I made the purchase! I am able to properly use this board to do sit-ups without being on the floor and hurting my back or top part of my feet from using the edge of the bed. I am 5'4" and I weigh a solid 160 lbs. I definitely feel secure while performing my sit-ups however I don't feel anyone with a weight over 170ish should purchase this. The board is far from flimsy but not designed for heavier people. I have been using this board for almost a month now on a daily basis, and I already see results in my waistline. If I continue to use this board daily, I am certain I will have the neat and flat stomach I'm working towards. It's unbelievable what wonders this inexpensive board can do! Additionally, the purchase portion was outstanding! I received instant confirmation emails and updates of when my item was shipped. I'm 6'1" and weight 270 lbs. I have absolutely no problem using this bench. It's stable and comfortably supports me. I've been though about a 1000 reps so nothing extensive, but enough that I don't think it is going to give out. I love the pin option to lock the legs in place. They work very well, and allow me to easily break it down and put it in a closet or under a bed. I honestly cannot tell they are pins as there is no movement in the assembly during exercise. It also came with bolts if you want to assemble it in a permanent position. Total assembly time was 5 minutes or less. Legs are already attached. You just lock them in place. The bench was fairly easy to set up and is lightweight enough to move around easily. My biggest complaint might be that it did not come with an instruction book, or even a photo of someone using the bench. Since there were no instructions, I still can't figure out how that woman in the photo for the advertisement did her side crunches. I cannot figure out where she placed her feet to keep from falling off of the bench. I have been using this bench for two weeks now. At first, I had to place a bucket with a pillow on it at the end of the bench when I did my sit-ups, to support my shoulders and head, due to the fact that the bench is so short. (I'm 5'8") I soon learned to not lay back, at all, during my sit-ups, not even just to rest inbetween reps. Now I have no problem with the short bench and it is better form for my sit-ups, anyway, not to lay back on the bench. However, my bench has, for some unknown reason, little metal loops on the tubes, and the loops are right where I need to place my feet while doing the back extensions. You cannot see the loops in the photos on the Internet, and they are not portrayed in the assembly instructions or parts list. Its not a major problem if I am wearing shoes, but I really don't want to have to wear shoes to do my back extensions. Placing the metal loops where the feet should go is, in my opinion, a really poor design. Most back extension units have plates on the bottom for the feet to rest. I don't mind not having a plate and resting my feet on a tube, but the little loops on the tubes hurt. Having said that, I am getting a good workout with this bench, but I wish I had invested a little more money into a better designed unit. ... show more
