I bought this body camera to feel safer on my 1-2 hour morning walks, and I like this device because of its long battery life and ease of use. What I like about it: - Ease of Use: I turn this model on before I start my walk, clip it to my belt (or the hem of my leggings), and then click the recording off at the end of my walk. - Good Battery Life: I recorded a 2.5 hour walk and kept the camera on the entire time. The battery was still more than 50% full when I finished my walk. - No Third Party Apps: I can make, review, and delete recordings on the bodycam itself, without using any third party app. (I like that I didn't need to install any apps or give out my personal data to use this device.) Also, I can transfer the recordings to my computer by plugging the bodycam into my computer. - Quality Footage: This bodycam has a video mode, camera mode (for photos), and a 180 degree selfie mode. The videos mode uses a wide-angle lens that shows a LOT: when I clipped it to my waist, the camera showed me, who I'm talking to, and who is standing around me within 2-3 feet (for reference, I'm 5"4. Tall people could probably see more.) The audio is a little muffled when it's windy outside, but I could make out individual words spoken in a conversation I held at normal volume with a friend. Flashlight - I use this when I'm crossing the street in poor lighting, so that cars can see me. I used to use my cellphone for this, but my bodycam has better battery life. I think the light could potentially stay on for my whole walk. Also, this bodycam fits on my cellphone stand. Overall, this camera makes me feel safer during my morning walks without slowing me down-- I love that I can clip it to my belt, go for my walk, and forget that I'm wearing it!

I purchased a camera to try in a carry mode. I already have several (front and rear facing) car cameras and fixed cameras at my residence. I was pleased with the video quality, the amount of storage available and the battery life. I had purchased a different camera years ago that had very poor battery life and poor video storage. This camera is no comparison, far superior. Carrying the camera in a shirt pocket believe it or not, was not easily detectable by others. I walked around talking to people and they seemed to have no idea that they were being recorded. I decided to try the camera on my bicycle, and it worked beyond my expectations. I actually purchased a 2nd camera and when I ride my bicycle, I have 1 camera facing forward and the other camera facing the rear. Having had 2 recent collisions with cars that cut me off, I felt that affixing these cameras to my bicycle was cheap insurance.

I have had this camera a few months and I keep it with me whenever I go out. There were a few primary concerns in getting a body camera. I wanted one that had good resolution, that you could see the video replayed. It takes ok video and starts quickly which is important. it will not start and automatically start recording but pushing the start button and then the record after it boots only takes about 5-7 seconds and it is recording. I wish it had IR Lights for night vision but it does not. The LED Lights probably would be too bright and dramatic to use in most situations where security is important you would look like a beacon in the dark but it does have ok low light recording. The clip option is not the best for everyone but I wear shirts with pockets so the camera can be tucked into the pocket and the lens sticks up about an inch above the pocket so it is also less noticeable than the police type cameras so people won't realize you are recording. You can recognize people at a good distance over 20 feet and the audio is good. If you whisper to describe what is happening the camera will pick it up. The battery life is not extremely long so you need to check the charge and top off before you leave home. I have not run out of charge while using it but you probably get a couple hours of use. The storage makes a lot of small files but they are easy to work with. It is also not bad that they are short if you have to show someone a video they don't need to see your entire day just the minutes around the event. THE WIFI APP IS USELESS it does work and you can connect to the camera and in an emergency you might be able to view and download files to your phone but the wifi is so slow it could take hours to transfer what you need especially if you were emailing it to the police it would be frustrating. You might also try bringing a MicroSD card reader that can attach to your phone directly to transfer files. The USB C cable will allow you to connect it to your computer and download files normally fast and I suggest you doing it that way. IS THIS CAMERA WORTH BUYING? Yes. If you understand this is not a 8k high dollar camera used to make movies and it is a personal security device then it is a very good camera to have. It will do what you need it to do and record events for security reasons. If you want to record a family event or something like that then use your phone or a high dollar camera. This camera has already helped me in 2 situations. Its sad that life is like this today but you are better off having and using a camera like this and then there is no debate about what just happened. Again this is a good camera if used for its purpose and it is not too expensive. It is worth having if you need it. Build quality is good but the wifi app is not really useful but give it a try you might want to use it. I would buy it again. (not paid)
