The media could not be loaded. I want to be the first to say that I for one was very skeptical about this litter box. There was conflicting information on the product description page about it saying that it did have an app that controlled it, but yet when it arrived there was no indication on the unit anywhere that it connected to a network or bluetooth. Then I found out that there was indeed 2 types of this same unit, one that did not have an app for operation and another that did that was a little bit more pricey. So, after taking a chance and buying it anyway because of course it really is a good deal considering I paid allot more for mine a couple years ago, I got this one for my mom and her kitty Pom-Pom. The mechanics work a little differently than mine did and was curious as to how it would do. I have found personally after owning one that you can't just put any kind of litter in these no matter what the manufacturer says. These litter boxes have small motors in them that have to strain everyday to turn a container with litter in them and scoop so the less weight the better. So I purchased the same combo for her unit as I do with mine, a mixed tofu litter and Sustainably Yours Small-Grain Formula, Corn & Cassava litter (it looks like cream colored sand). This I have found is the absolute best combo for a clean and most efficient performing unit. The tofu litter is light and has always performed very well on absorption and locking in scent, and the Cassava sand soaks up urine instantly and becomes a hard rock for easy scooping. It also coats the stool very well and makes the sliding action of the litter when scooping allot more easier on the unit as well. So when this unit was scooping I watched for anything that might be an issue and everything worked out perfectly. I was very impressed with this litter boxes performance. I thought about the unit in how well it would do since it was a basic model that didn't have an app, but it actually has an internal sensor that detects very well when your kitty is done and will scoop properly. Also I will mention that when I stayed over the weekend and checked if Pom-Pom had used it during the night, he had used it 3 times and I never once heard it. It operates very secretively and its quiet. We never notice it's operation. And if you notice that waste is still sitting in the unit and not scooped yet, don't be alarmed, it will scoop. It has a safety feature on it that will delay operation for some time if your kitty triggers its sensors in any way to ensure that your kitty is safely away from it when it starts to scoop. I would have to say if your looking for a good robot litter box, you should give this one a try. as long as you use the proper mixture of litter like I stated, I think you will be more than satisfied and so will your kitty. I will update this review if anything negative should occur in the future.

Good automatic litter box. Be prepared for mess if you neglect it of course it doesn't clean itself it’s not magic. I noticed some sensor issues with stopping and starting and flashing 1-2 but fixed that by cleaning the wheel on the top part. As the wheel and the camera go right by each other. The smell is completely gone in my room and i love that. It was ease to put together and easy to take apart. I have 5 and one big like 25 pound cat. Not one has an issue with being afraid now my 25 pound cat isn't the brightest and does something miss but thats not the boxes fault.

It does what its supposed to most of the time. Dose not seem to empty every visit… and its not as big as I had hoped- my cat is 13lb- she will only urinate in it. I still have to have a regular litter.box out for her 💩 It is easier to clean than the Furoomate was. The litter doesnt stick to the liner as much

Piece of junk. It does not work do not waste your money. Go ahead and splurge. If you really want one that’s gonna work do not do what I did and buy the cheapest one you found because it doesn’t work. It does the same thing a normal cat litter box does it’s broke and now I got to go through the hassle of sending the crap back.

Bought two. One stopped working pretty much all together in the first month and the display piece came off entirely. The second one works about 90% of the time. Still get a lot of "2" errors which means something is obstructing the sensors which are at the bottom with the tray. Also a good idea not to use any type of litter. Mostly made for lightweight, clumping litter.

Easy to assemble, holds decent amount of litter. Not sure if the sensors work as i haven't seen it activate even after placing cats in box. Press button option works though. Would give more stars if my cats would use it. Do suggest buying steps as it is fairly high off the ground. Have had it a few weeks,but had no visitors as of yet.
