So I can’t take credit for the assembly, but my son had it assembled in about 20 minutes. I’m so happy with the coverage area and the ease of operation. The packaging took a beating but everything was good inside. To assemble the umbrella it was literally 5 steps. It took me about 5 minutes but it can be done in under 1 minute. Would be 5 stars if not for shipping issues. Product arrived with very torn up box. There are a few dents on the mast which aren’t visible with the positioning of umbrella in our yard. Didn’t want to risk continued back and forth with exchanges also being damaged. Packaging needs vast improvement! Umbrella itself is great. Looks perfect in the yard and is super easy to operate. I purchased this 10' umbrella on sale for $299.00 plus tax. It arrived much quicker than expected, and was as described. We have had heavy duty umbrellas snap in the past, so we do lower this every time it's not in use. It raises and lowers with ease. We also like the crank that allows us to position it exactly. The media could not be loaded. Fabulous umbrella but it moves a lot in the wind even with the 300+ rated base. A little frightening to have the little one under it, but we still like it’s features of adjusting up down and swivel. Just wish it was a bit more sturdy in the wind.
