Worked out great on my garage personnel door. Bought the 80” (2 panels, 3 arms) version but there are no instructions on how to connect a second panel so I had to get creative. Instructions are only for a single panels version. Have some water leaking past their gasket material and where the gutter connects at the 2 panels so will likely seal this up later. Packaging was really pathetic, ripped to shreds and aluminum arms were scraped up bad. Would have given 5 stars if not for these issues, looks good though. ... show more

This is a really nice product but it is useless if they don’t send the rubber seals and small screws with it. I expected the instructions to be of little use, but they were missing also. All I received were the three (first class) aluminum support brackets and two sheets of Lexan. I did not expect concrete anchors or fasteners to attach it to the wall but you don’t get those either. I could have made it work, BUT if you don’t have the rubber seal to waterproof the joins between the alu and the Lexan, it will leak like a sieve with the first rain (or snow). The product was DOA when it came out of the box. I had to send it back because they will not ship any missing parts and I had to buy a (inferior ?) competitor. The other issue was that the admiral didn’t like the color of the support brackets. “ Champagne” is actually a greeny brown, sort of cammo color. So if greeny brown is not going to fit your color scheme, you may want to pass. ... show more

I needed an affordable yet quality awning for my french door to the back of my house. I was concerned about whether or not this awning could withstand our stormy weather in GA, but so far it has and the door doesn’t get as saturated as before. And the awning is very fashionable.

For the cost, this is what I needed above my outside door and plan to buy again to put above a window. You can't rely on the video for help on the installation. Example, it does not show or say the distance to or from each other as to where to drill the holes. I ended up with two 1/4" holes in the wrong place. I saw in the video and other reviews that one person could do the install. I could not. Using the supplied bolts to secure it to the house would not work for me, I ended up using 3" lag bolts and don't see it blowing away anytime soon. Do yourself a favor and measure five times before drilling once and grab an extra person for lifting and fitting. Just a side note, after you finish installing it, go back and watch the video again for a good laugh. ... show more

Good, solid awning. Ordered this more expensive model because it has an aluminum frame instead of the lower cost models with the plastic frame. Roof panels are good quality pieces. Installation instructions were a little vague for the wider 2 section unit, but overall installation went well. It does take at least two people to install. ... show more
