Had to return the initial delivered printer for it did not initiate a manual self test or able to print a request from my Mac. Surprise, the replacement did the same exact thing. My current system is a Mini Mac M2 running the latest version of Sonoma. My guess is the driver located on their website does not play very nice with Sonoma. Not sure why the manual self-test label print did not work with either printer received. To add insult to injury, their app I installed on my iPhone will not allow me to create an account to test it out. I keep getting a network error so I gave up. The printer itself works well. Nice, clean print labels. Software on phone is okay. On Windows, you don’t need to use their software, and I’d personally avoid it on the computer. A good value for smaller users. I haven’t used it long enough to know how it will hold up to heavy use, but no indication that it won’t. You can use ANY labels with this printer. Does not have to be their brand. There is a quick button sequence to do when you add a new stack of labels, just so the printer can “read” them. After that they work fine. Works perfect! Labels are crisp! Use it for my shop and Etsy. Pro tip...for sites like etsy simply use the snipping tool in windows, snip around the label and print the screen shot snip. This is an OK printer but the app is bad and the Windows software gives virus warnings. I would steer clear of it unless you see that they update the software and apps; go with a name brand if you need something for use in a commercial setting.
