This is a GREAT pool but you should know that on a scale of 1 to 10 for "Do it Yourself" this project is a 10+. It was VERY VERY difficult to put up. It took 4 of us 3 solid back breaking weekends to do this AND our ground was almost totally flat to start with. I can't imagine how hard it would have been if we weren't already on a flat surface. You have to get the ground within 1" flat and this is an 18'x 33' pool. We had a tractor AND a contractors level and it took us 6 hours to level our already flat ground. With shovels it would have taken another 2 days. Also it isn't possible to install the wall without at least 3 people and same with the liner. It's just all too heavy and awkward. You should also know it doesn't come with a LOT of required items. The Sand required was 2 full truck loads ($125) and 4 hours of work AND $50 in paving stones required for all the supports that all have to be dug into the ground and leveled. I cannot stress enough how much work this was. I learned later that it only costs about $1,000 to pay someone to put this pool up and I wish I had known that because it would have been money well spent. But I LOVE the pool. It's huge and very sturdy and the pump cleans the pool well. ... show more

I love, love, love my pool! Kudos to the genius that invented & perfected this pool! For those of us that would have a built in pool if they could afford it or didn't live in Mi. this is perfect! I bought a few extras to go along with it and will buy a few next year but if you can't afford to buy any extras you will be able to get through a summer with what comes with it. Because I put mine on a deck I ordered an elephant pad to go along with pad that came with it. The filter got us through this summer but I'm going to buy a little larger one for next year. I also bought a vacume cleaner & a solar cover. My garage is pretty close to pool so fine gravel from shingles get in water & would sink to bottom & I could not pick up with the skimmer so I bought the vacume & all summer long I had beautiful clean water! The cover itself fits my 18x33 pool very well and does a great job at keeping the temperature up. Many times this summer my pool was at 90 degrees when my neighbors had dropped down to 80. It seemed to always keep my pool 5-10 degrees warmer than the one next door. At times, I even left it off a couple of days when the pool would get too hot. My only gripe was with the the handling of the product before i received it. The bag that it came in was torn completely at the bottom and it appeared that the cover had been dragged across concrete. When I spread it out, I found 3 holes about the size of baseballs. I chose to contact Amazon and received a partial refund, though I really don't think the holes affect the function of the cover. Since this is a 3 year solar cover, I plan to purchase another when it wears out. The price is much cheaper than similar covers found locally and at online pool stores. ... show more

For the price I bought it for I think is okay quality. The one thing I noticed that didn't happen right away on my previous pool covers was almost 25% of the bubbles that create the heat to the pool water had popped in less then a week. Hopefully it doesn't start breaking down and clogging up my filter in the next 4 months. After that it's done and trashed. ... show more

Totally rotted from the sun only after a few months of use. It tore in several places and the blue bubbles sloughed off and were over running our pool. We were so hopeful this would be good quality.
