I am very pleased with this product. My husband and I were able to install this by ourselves. Instrctions were spot on. There were only a few straps that didn't line up with our old anchors, but it was not a problem. The straps were adjustable and fit perfectly.

I purchased the 18 x 36 pool cover in Fall 2019. I did the installation myself. Installation of the anchors in the pool concrete was time consuming with the use of a electric hammer drill. I like the way the posts for the anchors retract into shell in the concrete when the cover is off - easily done with a battery power hand drill. The instructions were clear and after installation of the anchors the cover fit well. It is necessary to readjust the tension of the springs a couple of times to pull the cover taut. I have installed and removed the cover by myself a couple times, but it is much easier with two persons. I just installed the cover for the 3td winter - the cover is holding up well and does a good job of keeping debris from the pool. We have lots of trees. Our cats and dogs have crossed over the pool on the cover as well. Based on my experience so far, I would buy this product again. ... show more

The pool company wanted to charge over $5500 to procure and install a safety cover like this, but for the price of this cover and the purchase of the proper impact drill to get the anchors into the concrete pool deck, I came in under $800, a mere fraction of the pool company’s price.     • BUYER BEWARE-SIZE IS WRONG & NO EXCHANGES

I unpackaged the pool cover and laid it out to mark holes for the anchors. Surprise! Instead of being 18 ft. by 36 ft. the ACTUAL size is 20 ft by 38 ft, which will not fit my pool due to the deck size and fencing on one side of the pool. I would not be able to stretch the springs using the lever bar (about 40” long), which are what hold the cover tight. I double checked the product listing and it states the cover itself is 18’ by 36’. Even the product detail gives the product dimensions as 216” by 432” (18’ by 36’). Since it was past the 30 day Amazon return window, I contacted the manufacturer and explained the situation. The rep said the product description states that there is a 2 ft overlap, but on Amazon it DOES NOT mention overlap anywhere and detailed specs state it is 18’ by 36’. So I requested an exchange for the correct size, not a refund. The cover and accessories are brand new and I even offered to pay shipping on my end, which would not be cheap. My request was denied an exchange which means I’m now over $700.00 poorer. Be aware that the Blue Wave Company is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY & could care less about customers. My proposal was very reasonable and would have only cost them shipping. What a rip off! ... show more
