This is a five inch wide adjustable elastic band. It provides some abdominal support but nothing for back, SI, or hip. I am a 230 pound man and so I ordered the large one. It is too large for me although it's adjustable and so I can cinch it in a lot. May work for some people but it's not doing much for me. Returning it.

I started suffering with sciatica a month or so ago. I've been to the chiropractor and nothing was helping. I saw a similar belt on facebook so came here to see if it was available. Looking at the sizing, I was at the very max hip size so I searched for a plus size belt and found this. It fits me with tons of room to spare and boy does it feel good! It helps so much! The only downfall is that I carry my weight in my lower belly, so when I sit, the belt flips up. If they made this a bit wider, maybe another 3 or 4 inches wider it might alleviate that problem, but I still love this belt, it really helps my pain so much!!
