I really like these reeds — they produce a warm, rich tone and feel consistent with each one. Individually packed and the included portable reed case is very handy. They fall just under the Sweetwater reeds I usually use, great fit for the price and convenience, these are excellent for practice or performance.

I usually play a 2.5 reed on my tenor, but since these reeds were described as having a thinner vamp I went for the strength 3.0. While the vamp may be thinner the stock, or bark, is quite a bit thicker than any of my other brand reeds and I have to open the ligature very wide to secure it. I like that each reed is individually foil sealed (with a tiny desiccant bag) and has a plastic reed case that effectively keeps the tip flat. I don't like the use of single-use plastic for each reed, but I'll reuse them. The sound was decent but not as full as I hoped, and rather stuffy. But at less than $2 a reed, they're a good value for a student or beginner.

reeds for tenor sax. my 14 year old plays tenor sax. these are her preferred reeds. no squeaky sound. no chipping. no nothing. She loves how they work how they fit. the ease of use. the quality of them everything. I don't personally play but she does and she won't buy any others and they don't taste funny whatever that may mean to you saxophone players.

OMG. For the price this reeds are amazing. I got a pack of strength 3 reed and the quality sound I get is way better than the popular brands. My only problem is that using a new reed is a bit rough on my lips and sometimes leaves me with a buried lip for the 1st week using the new reed. But other than than I will buy these again.
