I really like this belt. It's got decent support without being too rigid. I've got an abdominal hernia from my pregnancy, and it's been uncomfortable. This is my 3rd belt and I really like that you can choose how wide the torso length is. All my previous belts were default 9in wide and would dig under my breast and into my ribs and pair that with not being able to move freely... i never wanted to wear my old belts. This one is nothing like that but you do compromise on the amount of compression you get, which don't get me wrong, it still does have a good amount of compression and support. I would say though, for length wise sizing down may help with additional compression. I'm going to buy more and my next one will be a size down.

I am a plus-size woman with a very large abdominal hernia. Someday I may try to find the right surgeon but for now I am very happy with the quality and amount of support offered. The amount of compression is just right, unlike some who, despite the ad saying what size I should buy come and are super tight and the Velcro doesn't hold nearly as well as this one.

This binder works good. I love how it is tapered so it fits around your hips and you don’t have a lot of gapping at the top. My one reason for not giving it 5 stars. The edge of Velcro meets at the front. The way you are suppose to wear it. The scratchy side is toward you skin. So if you have not laced the Velcro completely on the soft part. It will eat into your skin. This can be quite painful especially if you just had surgery as I have had. There should be. Cover for your skin or have the scratchy part to the outside and the soft part to your body.

The quality is great , but sizing has to be exact because of the small amount of velcro added to the belt. Most belts are flexible with more velcro area but this one is not. I cannot use mine and have to order another one because of this. Also I think the price is high.

Runs small. Usually a medium, (size 6-8) and but with the tapered version needed a large. In this same brand I have the 3 panel binder and a size medium there does perfectly. The tapered one is less bulky and I like that the Velcro attaches to other Velcro instead of shredding and piping on the band itself.

I took off 3 stars because firstly, I have to wear a shirt or tank top underneath it or else the edges scratch and cut into my skin because the edges are kind of sharp. Secondly, I have been wearing it for 15 days every day and it has already stretched out so much so that I now have to pull it in tighter about 5-6 inches. Lastly, it’s too thick so it fits bulky underneath clothes and it’s very noticeable that you’re wearing it so I only wear it around the house and take it off when I leave the house. I would not recommend buying it. Not worth the money. I spent some more money (3x’s what this cost) and bought a better quality, comfortable, abdominal binder. I love that one. I can tell this one will eventually end up in the trash.

I have had about a dozen abdominal surgeries throughout my life and was never offered or even knew about abdominal binders. I'm currently dealing with a lot of complications from recent major abdominal surgery. I finally described to my physical therapist what I thought would help the most and she pulled this binder up to show me. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. It's true to size. As other reviews mentioned, it's not super stretchy but it's not supposed to be. The Velcro is very strong yet easy to adjust. Haven't experienced any rolling up/down of the binder. It arrived on my 5th day of level 10 pain and I put it on immediately. It significantly helped pull me out of that unbearable pain cycle and now I'm wearing it full time except for when I sleep. It's not bulky so it's easy to wear under clothes. I think if I had this right after my surgery, my healing would have gone more quickly and without so many complications. Highly recommend to anyone who has had recent abdominal surgery or one coming up. Check with your doc first.
