I highly recommend this abdominal binder . I’m 5’2 105#, bedside hospital nurse who works 12 hours plus on my feet. I had surgery ( incision is from my belly button down) in August. I bought the 9 inch small, laughed when I opened it. It looks like it was made for a toddler. But let me tell you, this abdominal binder is very supportive and comfortable. It does not have “bones” but is contoured in the back which makes sitting and bending comfortable. My lower back and abdomen did not hurt after my shift. Great purchase! ... show more

I had to return this to get a smaller one, so I could get a better compression around my waist and stomach. I got this because I had groin hernia surgery so I needed support. Also, I have a stomach pooch and I read about women after pregnancy being able to make their stomach smaller by wearing this binder. Surprisingly not only is it supporting my hernia area which is very important. I do think it’s making my stomach smaller. I wish I would’ve thought of this binder years ago. And it’s not as uncomfortable to wear as I thought you get used to it and it actually feels good because you’re supported. ... show more

    • Works well. Keeps my back and spine stable.

I have mild osteoporosis of the spine and felt unstable and unsteady when walking around my property where the land is a bit uphill, or downhill or uneven and some areas with lots of rocks. I have allergies so at times I sneeze a lot which caused some sudden jerky movements around my back and spine. I had always experienced left hip pain, gone to the chiropractor for adjustments and will feel better until I have bouts of sneezes again and I could really feel my hip alignment is way off. Since I have been wearing this binder I felt more steady, able to do yard work with ease of mind that my spine will be ok, bending and doing all other types of physical work. I have been able to keep my balance more steady climbing and walking on very uneven areas. I no longer feel bent out of shape when I sneeze, my back and spine feel stable when I do. The only negative is that I have to wear a thin shirt underneath it otherwise my (waist) skin itches from the binder. The size 28-36 should have been another 1-2 inches longer, my waist is 34 so at times it feels a bit too snug when doing a lot of bending and especially after a good meal. ... show more

Update: no way to contact seller for refund of returned item. Update: I returned this with shipping label I received and UPS handled shipment but on my account it doesn’t reflect I had returned it. Previous: I returned the first one okay. It was too small for the size indicated. A replacement was sent. It was way too big for size indicated. There was no size in between. I tried returning the second one and it reordered a replacement instead. I just wanted my money back since their sizes do not accommodate me for post-surgery support. I’ve been without a support for a week hoping this was the right one. Now I can’t ship it back. I’m not happy at all!!!! ... show more

    • Great for early stages of an abdominal hernia

I went to my family doctor and since I had a small bump near my navel (near my abdomen), he told me I do have early stages of a possible hernia. He also told me about an abdominal binder and what its about. After trying this binder on my navel right over my small bump (possible hernia), I can control it and the liner puts compression on that intended area right over my bump. The compression is there (as I can feel it) but the binder is comfortable to wear based on my waist measurement. I'm impressed a narrow binder could be so powerful. I haven't worn it going to sleep (as I could do), but the binder is worn mainly when I get home from work from a manufacturing job as an assemblyman and occasional spot welder. Overall, this is great for many medical purposes but works well under compression related issues. Before using, I would talk to your doctor to see if the binder is a good fit for you. You obviously don't need a prescription to buy it, but I'd ask if its a good option for you if you need one. ... show more

Not enough velcro to conform with the measurements listed in this listing. Therefore, this binder is not able to compress or give compression as intended unless you don’t mind it being big. You won’t be able to really adjust unless you only need to adjust slightly. It needs to be able to stick no matter where you attach it; especially for tummy tuck and Diastasis recti repair surgeries. Not happy with this and will be sending it back. The packaging looks like ppl have already sent it back previously. ... show more
