I had recently gotten a hernia while lifting something at work. After getting it delivered, I began wearing it the following morning. At first it felt great. I really liked the "bubble" that can be moved to put extra pressure in exactly the right spot. That felt really good. After a few days of wearing it with the bubble, it began causing a burning sensation right under the bubble. I guess it was too much pressure pushing inward on the hernia. I removed the bubble and replaced it with a twice-folded wash cloth. That seemed to work just as good and the burning sensation never returned. As far as the belt goes, it lays flat and can't be seen under my clothing so nobody even knows it is there. ... show more
