  • Great adjustable bedframe - a life-changer
Very very happy with this cost-saving and pain-relieving purchase. I have mild to severe sleep apnea and it got to the point that I noticed that no matter how tired I was, when I actually lay down to go to bed, I’d get more awake and also slightly nervous. It took me a while to realize my body was actually subtly afraid of going to sleep. That was definitely not helping my sense of restfulness. I never did take well to using the cpap, so changing my sleep position was my only Plan B short of surgery. I’m happy to say this bed has made a big difference to me. I now dream fairly regularly again, which I hadn’t been able to do for years due to the apnea. The “zero-G” pose is so much more natural feeling than lying straight on my back. I no longer have anxiety going to sleep. And since I’m both a back and a side-sleeper, I’ve also been able to turn to my side naturally at night even with the bed in zero-G position. (This may depend on your body type but I’m a mid-sized guy and it’s fine for me.) I did remove the end bar that holds the mattress foot - I just didn’t need it and it took some of the added length down so I was able to fit my bed in a snugger space. I was drawn to this brand in particular because of the fabric covered design which is more supportive than some of the metal-only kinds, as well as the German-engineered motor, since the biggest concern on something like this is the motor going out. Zero issues with the remote or the motor - everything is simple and robust. I have a keetsa coil and foam mattress which is pretty firm, and was worried it wouldn’t be flexible enough to adjust on top of this base. But it’s been absolutely fine. So I’d think most people will not need to buy another mattress to use this. ... show more

  • husband is extremely happy with it
We purchased the twin-xl for my husband who has a heart condition and was having hip and back pain also. He needed a basic bed without some of the extra features such as massage. Since he has a pacemaker he cannot use the massage, so this is perfect. The remote is easy to use, very basic, and the bed is sooooo quiet when it is adjusting that it's unbelievable. He has had relief from his pain and the elevated head helps with his breathing. It was very easy to assemble. [We are 2 active seniors, but some seniors may need extra help.] We think this is a very good value, especially if you don't need the extras, and if you do this company can help you there as well. So far this seems to be a high quality product He loves it!! As a side note, their customer service was very helpful and friendly. I called because my tracking was showing the bed was not leaving their warehouse several days after it should have. Actually , it was ready and waiting but not being picked up by FedEx because of their volume limits for shipping during the Corona virus. So it wasn't the company's fault, and their rep told me to call him back if the tracking didn't show movement in a few days, he'd check into it further. Like I said, helpful and friendly.... ... show more

  • Easy assembly.
It was more difficult to get this out of the excellent packaging than it was to assemble. I didn't even bother with the directions, it was pretty straightforward. Screw in the legs, add the felt to the bottom, insert the included AA batteries into the remote and plug in the power cord. That's it. I'm using it as a single twin XL with a Lull brand mattress (also at Amazon) that is new too. It's very comfortable and doesn't bottom out in the full upright position. Two twin XLs side by side would be the same as a kingsize bed. There is a connecting cable to raise and lower both sides at the same time if you choose to use it that way. I think that the mattress will form to the bed frame more as time goes on. As it is now it gives added *cushion*. Although the assembled weight is slightly more than 90 pounds I didn't have a problem getting it to its location on the first floor. I rolled the box from side to side on the narrow dimension and that worked fine. I've always wanted a hospital-type bed. Now I have it. It ships out of California by FedEx so allow for transit time. ... show more

  • Amazing
Retired and disabled female. I set this up myself in no time. However it didn't work. I called customer service and the technician walked me through everything. We determined that I had a faulty remote. He shipped it out on Friday (I called after 3pm) and I recieved it Tuesday morning. It now workes perfect. Almost silent and very smooth motion. I am just getting over a bad cold and couldn't lay flat without coughing so I lifted the top and the bottom slightly and was able to sleep through the night. I bought this because I have a bad back and sometimes have a hard time getting out if bed in the morning. Now I raise the head up and can get out with ease. I should have got this year's ago. ... show more

  • Best investment
We ordered two of these 3 years ago and still love them. We liked it so much that we got one for the spare bedroom as well! Ever since I broke my back, sleeping on a regular bedframe was not comfortable. This was the best investment. I am now able to sleep well at night. I highly recommend. We've had absolutely no problems with these bed frames for the last 3 years. ... show more

  • Great quality for the price!
We got two twin beds to go side by side and it’s been a game changer! I often have back pain and I can find my own comfortable position, which is great. The motor is smooth though it’s a little louder than I’d like late at night. My only complaint is that these beds don’t have favorites or pre-set positions, so you can never find the same position twice- you have to adjust manually every time. That said, I’m happy with it for the price and would definitely recommend it! ... show more

  • Like Magic
My husband has suffered from back pain for years and has slept in recliners that have eventually worn out. This purchase has given him rest, sleep, and relief to be able to manage the pain a bit better. His comment was that he did not know how much help good rest could be. We also purchased the Vibe 12" Memory Foam mattress. ... show more
