This mulcher is a great value! Easy to operate and turns leaves into a very usable mulch. Two handfuls of dry or one if leaves are wet. I didn’t believe it would handle wet leaves but it does! We got more done than I would have imagined! You can adjust how fine you want them chopped. I set it in the middle snd it is very nice for compost. We just changed the plastic cutting string after using it to fill two big garbage bags over a few hours. I pull out sticks and branches but some still go through.

The machine pretty much does what it claims to do. It's a leaf mulcher. One apparent design flaw is that some of the leaves can by-pass the shredding whip lines. The lines do not extend to the full opening of the funnel. Why not make the lines longer? There is a metal prong attached to the bottom of the funnel that prevents the lines from hitting the inside of the housing. Without this and with lines that are too long, the housing would be easily scored, ruining the machine. The funnel should be designed so that all the leaves have to hit the shredding lines. Perhaps there's a good reason for the design that escapes me. So, if you want a fine mulch you'll have to run the leaves through a second time. The use of eye, hearing and breathing protection is essential. I tried using an open container to catch the mulch but there was too much dust released. A plastic bag attached as directed cut down on the dust but significantly slowed down the process. I guess that's why hand held leaf shredders have a permeable cloth bag to catch the mulch.

Works really well for thin branches and basic yard waste cleanup. Easy enough to set up and use. Only complaints are that the included gloves are basically useless and that it doesn't do super well with green plants. You'll occasionally have to open it up and clear away any pulp from the blades. Overall though, great value and exactly what I needed for small seasonal cleanup jobs.

Must put branch piece I the middle or it seems as though they are not there. Unplugged its self after a min. Not sure if it was the vibrations or what that was pretty funny seeing oh the power is no longer connected . It's what I paid for that's for sure I have a lot of smaller cuttings to do! Loud! Loud! Leaves turn to dust watch your eyes. If a branch has a shape it's not here for as in fits in to the shoot and it chooses to not chip it, will have to stop unscrew and at times that branch doesn't want to come back out of through . I still am getting through my piles since if I can state I got a problem I Innerstand I'm the solution. Update August 23rd would not recommend overheats and I'm using smaller sticks than it says it can handle it just strips does strips now more than wood chips.

I'm waiting for my return now

Was apprehensive about how well it would function with amount of leaves we get in the fall. It outperformed my expectations by miles. Achieving yard devoid of leaves is now a tenth of the effort as before.....as well as a significantly reduced number a bags now required.

It worked great. You can choose the resulting size to break the leaves. I've created about 10 bags of mulching leaves. So far the weed-wacker string is still good. I do need to be ready to replace it when it runs out.

I have enjoyed how this works and hope it works for a lot longer. I am concerned about the plastic construction but so far it does not show any signs of not lasting for a long time. It is very light and is easy to move around. The one issue I have is trying to find a bag that will fit under the outshoot.

Perfect for anyone with part-wooded, part-cultivated land. With this and a small chipper, I'm able to make my own mulch and/or soil conditioner. It's very satisfying to be able to avoid buying these expensive items while making enough for my own needs. Home-mulching does take some time and effort, though. I recommend for someone who has the time to spend with home gardening and experiences joy and satisfaction from it.
