I’ve been buying Black & Decker for over 30 years, never had a problem with anything I’ve ever bought. That’s what swayed-me into buying this frig. It’s quite bigger than you think it is, it’s very good looking, no smell, keeps my items good and cold, And I haven’t seen any change in my electric bill. I really like this item a lot! I would not hesitate to buy it again. You can put the door on either side it’s a big one for me and it’s got tons of room for anything I really want but I mainly bought it for drinks because I’m disabled and I like to drink a lot of it ice tea and such and this saves me from having to walk all the way out to the kitchen or Having the bug one of my family members to help me out. I have nothing negative to say about this only positive. I’m very happy UPDATE: my black and decker is working fabulously. It was at the end it’s good and cold in there. I almost barely hear it, it’s very pretty and I just fits in my room and is part of the way it is. I really like it. Right now I give it a 10 out of 10 and I’m counting on being able to say that a year from now as well.

Great office or dorm fridge!

Very nice mini fridge! I have had it now for a few months and this fridge does everything it needs to. It does a great job at keeping things cold, is very quiet, and can hold a good amount of any variety of foods. I purchased this for my office, and specifically because it was one of the only 2.5 cu. ft. mini fridges that would fit under the height of my desk. It had done great at keeping my lunches and drinks cold, while not being disturbingly loud while working.

Since the black color cost even more than gray or white - plus had a week delivery - I went with the gray. Seems a real jip (IMHO) to be charged more for colors, other than the plain white - but thats how it is for most units now days. Anyway - this is a very nice unit. I wanted one with a freezer that at least took up the entire internal width. Others did not even have room for more than a single frozen lunch entre whereas this one gives you that plus a tiny ice cube tray to boot! The door has soda can racks and ample space for a mix of container types. The glass shelves are reconfigurable and smartly thought out. The bottom area is enlarged for a custom mix of odds and ends you need to store - and overall, space is wisely utilized throughout by design. I think it is the best choice of Amazons offerings in this size/price range and I spent time trying to make the right choice for my need. I needed it fast so Prime was essential with its 2-day delivery. Our full-sized office fridge left us, when mgmt did a surprise personnel move. So I wanted to secure my own means to store lunch foods and drinks without participating in a pool (and enduring the potential issues that come with it). So I stepped up to get my own personal unit. This fridge tucks under the desk counter layout of my cubical perfectly. I unboxed it at 06:00 and plugged it in loaded with my stuff for the day. When I came back at 11:00 am - my foods were all chilled and my little mini ice cubes were frozen solid. I noticed all parts and piece parts were thoughtfully taped and held in place so shipping damage was extremely unlikely. So far I am very pleased with it and satisfied that it is the perfect fridge/freezer combo for its design, size, & price point. I recommend it.

Still running after all these years

I purchased this refrigerator for my bedroom in October of 2023. Since then I needed to move and was concerned about having my refrigerator still working after that move. Everything worked out just fine and I’m still enjoying my refrigerator. I highly recommend this product for keeping meditation or anything else you need to keep cold.

Bought this for my son for his birthday. Arrived in no time flat. Plugged it in, everything seemed fine, so threw out all the packaging after a couple days because who has room for a giant box? A couple days later, and I have a warm fridge. Of course. Rather than figure out how to send something of this size back without packaging, submitted a warranty claim to W. Appliance Co. A week later, and still had heard nothing. Contacted Amazon for assistance dealing with them, and they got the company on the phone with a promise of having a replacement delivered within 10 days. Two weeks later, still no fridge. More unanswered emails. Another call to Amazon, who again gets them on the phone, apologies and tells me they've called the warehouse and a new fridge will be delivered by the end of the week. End of the following week, still no fridge. Emailed expecting no reply but - shock of shock - receive a reply. My ordered color is out of order, would I take a different color? (Wait, I thought you talked to the warehouse last time?) But whatever, just send a fridge. Several weeks later, still no fridge. Along with more unanswered emails. I never did hear back from them on this. I've given up on them entirely. But, I did call Amazon up again. 'Would I like to talk to the company again?' No, I would not, what would be the point? Any chance for a refund despite being WAY outside the return window at this point? Afraid not. But I can't blame Amazon for that. After a little back and forth with support, Amazon did send me out a new fridge and I sent the original dead one back in the new one's packaging. The replacement seems to be working fine so far a couple weeks in. But I don't trust that it will last based on my dealing with this company. And when/if it does fail, I'm certainly not wasting any more time with this issue and will just consider it a relatively expensive lesson to avoid Black & Decker products as well as anything warranted by W. Appliance Co.

I'd buy it again!

Great fridge! I purchased the "used one" offers by Amazon for $116 and a water pan for underneath, should it drip. It's in my bedroom. Makes hardly NO noise. The freezer is great and things on the top shelf will freeze, or be super cold. I keep my milk on the top shelf and it has ice in it. I'm surprised how much it holds. Originally I didn't want a freezer section but so happy I bought this "like new used in Amazon". I received no instruction manual but that's easily found online. I'm a fridge snob and happy with the purchase. I have the typical kitchen fridge, garage fridge and this is mom's fridge ... no family allowed.... haha After using 2 weeks it started to build up some frost on the freezer section. I realized there was a button in the middle of the temperature dial and pushed it in. Woolaa!!!! It automatically turned the fridge off. I removed freezer items and tops self items and placed on lower shelf. laid a heavy towel in the freezer and on the top shelf and within 30 minutes it was defrosted. I wiped it dry, replaced items and within about 10 minutes the fridge came back on, and the defrost button popped back into position! I'm still loving it.
