The type of saddle I was looking for was covered in plastic (easily cleaned). We had some of those but they had gotten lost over the years. But these are a good alternative. They are basically super thick pool noodles that you can sit on. I do not know how durable these will be considering that they are pool-noodle material but they will last for a few seasons I suppose. They do work and the leg openings are large, comfortable and great for adults. Children should not use these as they do require a certain amount of weight to use. ... show more

    • These work well and we like them, BUT...

I'm a little disappointed in these. I bought three (3) of these things because the material looked to be hardier and more durable than the spongey foam types out there. And though these things work well, and we do like them, it seems in a relative short amount of time (2-3 weeks) the colors are beginning to fade, the edges appear to be disintegrating, and they have become permanently curved or bent making a little harder to wedge into places for storage. We never leave our pool toys in the pool when not in use so it's a little disappointing to see how quickly these things have degraded with such little use or exposure. ... show more
