I’m using this rod with one linen-blend curtain panel and it looks beautiful in my space. The finish is clean and modern, and the rod feels well made for the price. Installation was straightforward. I didn’t use the included brackets because I installed the rod with Kwik Hang brackets instead, but the brackets that come with the set seemed sturdy and properly made for the rod. For reference, the panel shown is 84” long and not feather-light, and the rod supports it without issue. This is a slimmer-profile rod, which works well for light to medium weight curtains, and I’d expect it could also support two light-to-medium panels depending on fabric and width. If you’re planning to hang very thick blackout curtains or multiple heavy layers, you may prefer a larger diameter rod. My only wish is that it came in brushed nickel, because I’d purchase another set if that finish were available.

We used this full set in our previous apartment, where we were OK with putting holes in the walls. The material is all lightweight and, I'll be honest, feels kind of cheap, but they stayed anchored and we had absolutely no issues with the brackets or the rod whatsoever. We no longer use the brackets in our new apartment, but the rod is still in use. If you have heavy blackout curtains and leave them bunched in the middle, there's some bend in the rod, but who does that anyway? It's fine, and for the price we're happy.

These curtain rods were a bit perplexing when I opened the package. They are not the traditional type that slide into each other to create an easy length adjustment. Basically there are 4 threaded tubes (just under 15 inches each) and two end tubes threaded on only one end with a plastic end cap on the other. The annoying part is if you want any size that is less than the full length of them screwed end to end in each other you have to use a metal hack saw blade to cut the length down on either end to accomplish a smaller size or one in between. Once you cut down either end you can take the plastic cap off and put it on the unfinished cut you had to make to cover the sharp edges. The brackets worked just as other traditional mounts for rods however they are not adjustable to extend further out or in closer to the wall. Overall once the extra work was done to cut them to the needed size they worked satisfactorily and are sturdy enough for mid-weight curtains. I used them to hang 84 inch length curtains with no issues. Would most likely not buy these again because of the added time it takes to adjust the sizing using a metal cutting blade. -- However, they are satisfactory and work well enough that I kept them.
