Purchased 3 of these 42 inch fans place in the bedrooms for a renovation on my home. Installation was pretty simple. Came with reversible blades, black on one side and a light brown “wood” tone on the other. I opted for the black side as it’s timeless and classy, imo. I am not well versed with electrical work but I figured it out. The light is bright and the air this thing produces is great! It’s also very quiet and doesn’t wiggle or shake. Pretty sturdy. My only complaint is that the down rod was too long which was probably my mistake for not double checking but I didn’t see anywhere the length of the down rod. I have 8 ft ceilings so the 12 inch rod it came with was way too long. Had to purchase shorter down rods to make it work. Besides that I am happy with this purchase and hope they will last awhile. ... show more

Unfortunately, I think this is being sent back. I love almost everything about this except the controller doesn’t work well. There is almost always a delay on the light control and sometimes it doesn’t work at all. Too bad because it’s a nice design despite the challenges hanging it noted by other reviews (it doesn’t seem designed to hang from a standard US junction box so you have to mess with it a bit). I also wish the “warm 3000K” light setting was a touch warmer, but it’s not bad. Great task light for a kitchen area. ... show more

I was doubtful that the fan could cool the room when I saw the size of the fan blades. Happily my doubts were wrong. This fan cooled the room quickly and looks great! I highly recommend this fan, the remote included is very user friendly.

The fan is smaller than it appears. However, it easily cools my master bedroom in my Florida home. On a higher setting, there is a slight noise from the blades. I find it more soothing than anything else. Both light and fan are adjustable which is great.
