The media could not be loaded. We got this to clean our couch - cats, dog and toddler left it stained and a bit smelly. After just one pass it looks like a whole new couch! Some deeper stains could use another go but I think the photos speak for themselves. It took probably 45-60 minutes to do the whole couch, and one tank of clean water was large enough for a single pass over the 4 cushions. The machine itself is a great portable size that easily fits on a closet shelf when not in use. Filling, emptying and removing the water tank is super easy, you just pull it out. The cord is long enough imo, maybe slightly shorter than your average vacuum. Fill with hot water and solution if you prefer, plug it in, turn it on, and use the trigger to spray your surface. I did use some additional oxyclean sprayed onto the cushions after wetting for the deeper stains. The suction is automatic, simply run the brush head down the surface to suck up the water. Your surface will not be 100% dry, I did my couch at 8pm and it was fully dry the next morning.     • STAIRS! This is the right tool!

Well, I've been a fan of Bissell since the cordless Crosswave. I got addicted to two-tank cleaning. It just makes sense. So for my carpets, I got the Revolution 2X Pro-heat. That thing truly is better than a rental unit. It's downfall is stairs. It's pretty big with dual brushes up front, and a gallon of hot cleaner on-board so trying to use the wand attachment while balancing the cleaner on a step is kind of like trying to duplicate Fred Astire's "Dance with a hat rack" Wrong tool. So I got the Bissell Petstain Eraser. Cordless, and with a rotary scrubbing brush, it's just too darn small for the stairs. There's a LOT of square feet of carpet on your stairs, especially when you include the risers. Do the math, you'll be surprised. It does such a good job on small stains with almost no setup, I kept that one. So I decided to try the SpotClean ProHeat Portable. This one was in the 'Goldilocks zone'. Just the right size. Big enough to do 3-6 steps at a time (depending on how deep you clean) and small enough to stay out of the way! FINALLY! It's a little leaky if you use REALLY hot water. Mine was scalding-hot, so YMMV. The suction could have been better, I'm sure it's bigger brother the 'Little Green Pro' has better suction, but it lacks a heater. You can get all the way to the corner at the back of each step. The brush doesn't quite reach, but you can spray-soak it in the hot cleaning solution, and then suck it darn-near bone-dry. Do that a few times, and you are as clean as a whistle. For just over a hundred bucks on sale, this is a clear winner. I'm going to use the Revolution to clean the carpets tomorrow, and this little gem around the periphery of the room up to the baseboards, and that last inch next to the transition to tile that the Revolution won't touch either. OH YEAH, and the edges around the door trim!!! Look down, and you'll see all the tiny places your vacuums and shampooers just won't go. This puppy will. ... show more

Very nice little spot clean machine. Does a great job cleaning small messes. Light weight and easy to use. Sadly after one year of use the hose has split in two places. The replacement hose cost around $25 and it is not easy to replace. Update: I have discovered you can repair this hose with silicone tape. You can also use this tape to protect your new hose from cracking in the future. Tip: Do not hang hose in back of machine it puts to much strain on the hose. ... show more

This is a lightweight spor cleaner. I previous had a Bissell pro pet something or other cleaner. It was clunky and heavy and made cleaning up any mess my pup mad on the stairs horrendous. This is so much easier. It packs a nice punch for being lightweight. I was able to clean a 4x8 section of my 8x10 rug and it held up nice. It has a smaller tank so I did have to refill and empty twice. But it got out everything I needed it to. Love the attachment to clean the hose. My previous cleaner didn't have that and the machine eventually stank. Over all this machine is easy to fill and empty, super portable, and has nice suction power. ... show more

I really like the Bissell Proheat Cleaner as its easy to store and clean well. I have a lot of dirt brought into the house due to muddy paw prints and this vacuum just gives the rug its natural colors. The only thing is that in tight places the hose makes it hard to handle the brush head as its very stiff. Still gets the job done! ... show more

Not gonna lie--I let our dog and couch get so dirty that the smell was vomitous (hey, I was busy!). I honestly gagged from the smell and thought we'd just throw the couch out since we bought it used for $35 at Goodwill. But let me tell you: This little machine cleaned the H*LL out of this couch the night before we had family flying in for Christmas. I bought it due to one of my dogs throwing up frequently, like 2x a week. However, she's managed to throw up outside so yay for that. My other dog though has separation anxiety and bad diarrhea due to it. I've used it twice now and let me tell you it works so freaking well! Can't even tell besides the clean spots vs dirty carpet(20+ old can't be helped) I pair it with the bissel pro spot cleaner with oxy. Hot water and the cleaner. Spray and scrub away. ONE thing I don't like is that the extra part has a holder that doesn't work, it doesn't snap on so it's easy to knock off.
