  • Great pet hair cleaner!
Style: Pet Hair Eraser Turbo + Hand Vacuum
The wiggly head took a little driving to get use to! But, it picks up just about everything our dogs leave lying around. The only negative is where the cord comes out at the bottom of the machine. You have to pick it up and hold it or spend a lot of time running over it. The small hand held unit is something no one should live without! It is perfect for quick cleanups and has great suction. Both units have the dog hair attachment that works better than any vacuum I've ever had. They beat my old Dyson hands down. ... show more

  • Amazing
Style: Pet Hair Eraser Turbo + Filter
This vacuum has amazing suction. I am sooo in love with the attachments and how well they remove cat hair from my sofa. Having 4 cats and lots of cat hair was the main reason I bought this vacuum and I’m thrilled with how well it works. I don’t know how I put up with my previous vacuum so long. It has an extra long cord, and the vacuum swivels around corners so nicely. The light on the long crevice tool is a nice bonus. It’s also low-profile so it easily fits under my bed and end tables, unlike my last bulky vacuum. I love it and highly recommend it to head owners, and non-pet owners. ... show more

  • Fragile plastic
Style: Pet Hair Eraser Turbo + Febreze Filter
I was excited about this product because I have a shedding dog. It picks up hair fairly well. The attachments are made of cheap plastic and break easily. The vacuum is not very sturdy. Honestly I think over time I will end up having to replace it because attachments have already broke. The swivel head makes for a nice easy convenient vacuuming. If I had to do it again I would not purchase this vacuum and get something more expensive that will last longer. ... show more

  • Best pet hair vacuum
Style: Pet Hair Eraser Turbo + Hand Vacuum
We have purchased a number of Dyson vacuums that have stated they’re specifically for pet hair. Well this Bissell truly is for picking up dog hair. It’s my go to for vacuuming up let hair, and I don’t have to clean any brushes that collect dog hair. Thanks, Bissell!

  • bro, this thing changed my cleaning LIFE
Style: Pet Hair Eraser Turbo + Hand Vacuum
I've had the vac/hand vac for about 2 years and both still work perfectly well. We use it several times a week on furniture or carpets. With the brush rotation turned off, it works great on hardwood floors too. Every 3-4 months or so, I take out the washable filters and give them a good rinse to get the smaller dust particles out. I even bought my mom the hand vac for xmas (she's older and was struggling with her larger vacuum to get pet hair off her couch). I love it when stuff just *works* and you don't have to worry about it. ... show more

  • The struggle is real
Style: Pet Hair Eraser Turbo + Febreze Filter
It seems like every few years I’m in the need for a new vacuum, and I’m never fully satisfied with my purchase. Being a dog mom, my needs are very specific. First, great suction is a must, and second, the machine doesn’t clog. There is nothing worse than having to constantly take apart the vacuum and snake out clogged fur balls!! With that said I’m willing to pay up for a quality vacuum cleaner that can actually meet my two requirements. I was ready to break the bank and purchase a Dyson Animal but first wanted to do my research and see what all the options on the market were. After spending DAYS researching and comparing reviews from all internet sources I decided to purchase this vacuum. It’s not my first Bissell, which is why I was surprised this Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo outranked both Shark and Dyson pet vacuums. Not that Bissell isn’t a good brand, it is. It’s been around for a long time, it’s a quality brand, but in the past it has never wowed me. Regardless I let the reviews speak for themselves and bought it. First, I love how light weight it is. Very easy to lug upstairs and back down. It’s easy to use. High carpet, low carpet, dust container emptying, rollers on/off. Changing out the sponge filter was easy but I can’t figure out how to change the plastic Fabreeze filter to this day. The attachments are nice. The brush is great for dusting the top of hard surface furniture, while the lighted tip attachment is nice to get into small dark corners. The suction is mediocre. It’s the same as every other vacuum, which is probably phenomenal for a home with no pets, but for a home with dogs that shed, like their jobs are to make fur coats in a Chinese sweat shop factory, it can’t handle the challenge. And let me say, the first year I had the vacuum I only had one dog. This past year we have become a two dog household. Meaning double the hair. I vacuum daily. As in every single day. I empty the canister after each use. Yet the vacuum still clogs up with hair balls. Sometimes the hair balls are stuck and the roller spits them out, other times they are clogged within the hose and I have to take it apart and snake it out. Also the canister is a pain to empty. The hair clogs up towards the top and it’s a tight squeeze. I usually use a butter knife to try to pull the hair down so it can empty out of the canister . It’s a real PITA. The picture I’ve included is AFTER vacuuming. I have a carpet rake brush thing, I use to get the hair that the vacuum leaves behind up and out of my rug. The fact that this much hair is left behind after a slow and thorough vacuuming is outrageous. But such is my experience with all vacuums I’ve tried thus far. Maybe it’s time to buy that Dyson? ... show more
