These Bissell machines receive high ratings. I live in a house with carpet now. One dog thinks carpet is grass. As soon as I find an accident I thoroughly soak up all the urine. I was using Resolve but the stains and smell did not disappear. I purchased this machine. I opened it immediately and went to work. It dropped way too much water on the carpet. The suction was poor. I pressed towels into the carpet after to make sure all the cleaner was soaked up. Then I vacuumed throughly. After the treatment dried the stains remain. I have a flashlight that specifically checks for urine. The spots lit up. I tried a second time by mixing a new batch of cleaner with the same results. ... show more
