Nothing but good things to say about the green machine. I use it all the time to spot clean and also.do clean the cushions of.my couch. Easy to use and very effective. I don't buy any of the chemicals it recommends to use, I just use a mix of water. Vinegar, Dawn dish soap and some essential oils for scent. Works so good. ... show more

We’ve had this for about 6 months now, and I can absolutely say it has paid for itself within that timeframe. We’ve got a busy household with 2 teen boys, a toddler, and a dog, so needless to say, messes happen :) This has gotten out stubborn stains that I’ve tried numerous other applications on, on upholstered chairs and carpet. But the main reason why I felt the need to come on here and give it a review was when we were replacing the ventilation fan in our bathroom, we had painted around it with Kilz (super thick!!) and the can was still in that room. Our toddler knocked it over and I kid you not, at least half of the quart sized can was on our carpet in the closet. It took a few applications (and a couple times of cleaning out the machine itself) but somehow that entire spot is cleaned and you truly can’t even tell! There is no way in the world a stain like that would have gotten out in any other way. This thing is worth its weight in gold. Mic drop. ... show more

Only used it a couple times so far. Did my entire sofa, the water was black! It worked great. Smells so much better now. Suction is really good. It's getting all the stains out and the water proves how it's lifting the dirt out. The only thing I question is this motor fan being directly on the bottom of the unit. So when it is setting on any surface it's being completely blocked. Usually any type of motor or fan needs air flow. Hopefully this doesn't burn up the motor. I did have issues with the dirty water container spilling dribbles of dirty water out when I removed the container to empty it. That kid is not very secure. A better design could have helped. The suction hose is really stiff and keeps kinking as I try to use it. Hopefully it gets better with time. Love the compact and light design. I hope this last, because it's a good tiny easy unit to use. ... show more

I've been waiting a loooongg time to be able to say this joke: "What do I think about the Bissel???" - IT SUCKSS!!!!! ^ ^ No literally, this little machine works even BETTER than advertised! There is sOoo much power in this little sucker [again pun intended]. =D At first I had worries about the size of the water bin and the size of the dirty water bin, turns out the water bin was enough (IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT EFFICIENTLY). The dirty water bin gets full four to maybe six times on a whole couch cleaning endeavor (see pix). BIG TIP: don't waste the clean water with the cleaning solution (clothes-softener for me) in the bin. I took an old soap bottle of Dawn with the squirtlid on and added a minuscule amount of soap in it ( like 7 drops). Then I soaked the furniture freely with the bottle AND THEN I turned the machine on to vacuum the soaked part. After that I soaked WITH the built-in soaker juuust to get some softener scent on the furniture to theeen vacuum it up for the last time.. and then I just left it to dry. ... show more

We had a cat pee on our couch and I ordered the Little Green Cleaner is hopes of saving the couch. It worked great! The shampooer spray wet the area without soaking it, I let it sit for a few minutes to soak in and then the strong vaccum sucked up all of the water solution - odor gone! I am very pleased. The only negative is that the hose is short and you must hold the shampooer in your other hand to keep from pulling it over. It was easy to clean and small enough to tuck into a closet. ... show more

My dog urinated on my carpet and I took this baby out to go to work. It’s portable and works great! It comes with stairs tools that work around the angles on carpeted stairs. If you have pets and kids this is essential to keep carpets clean.
