First, I just want to disclose that we have one of these that we've been using for a couple of years now. The original one is slightly different, but functions the same. I wanted to order another one because we often divide and conquer and because these units are more for smaller areas (not entire room), together we can knock out the dirt much quicker. We have dogs that shed and have quite a bit of dander. We have wood floors on the main level and carpet upstairs along with carpeted stairs going to the basement. I wanted to tackle the stairs in the basement. We don't typically wear shoes in the house, but the dogs do go up and down these stairs when we are downstairs. I'm not sure that the after pictures capture the true cleaning power of these little machines, but after using this one, and the one I've had for a couple of years, I would choose them all over again. It does have a bottle of cleaner that comes with it, but I tend to used baking soda with some vinegar. I feel like this doesn't leave any residue and I end running a fan to dry the area and then vacuum up after. These are also great for car mats. Because of the portability I can just sling this around without issue. The cleaning tool holds up quite well and the suction is very good at getting the area as dry as possible, but I also go back over with some towels. Also to note, I've found that less is more. I don't completely soak the area because I've found that you're borrowing trouble later when some of that water will later come back up and create some darker spots. For spot cleaning, especially with pets and kids, this is a great "on the run" setup.

Just about every indoor dog or cat will have an accident of some kind sooner or later, so every pet owner needs the BISSELL® Little Green® Max Pet Portable Carpet and Upholstery Deep Cleaner. We have a dog and a cat and mainly got this machine to clean up after them. So far we have only used it once, but it worked great. The included sample cleaner cleans well and leaves carpet smelling fresh. The machine has excellent suction that pulls the liquid up out of the carpet, and the long hose makes it easy to reach areas in most normal rooms. I also like the self cleaning tool so that messy residue is not left behind. As I said, we got this for cleaning pet messes, but I can imagine it will come in handy for car mats and other small areas. We had another Bissell spot cleaner years ago that worked well, but this cleaner seems to have more power than that one did. The BISSELL® Little Green® Max Pet Portable Carpet and Upholstery Deep Cleaner is the perfect cleaner for pet messes and other small areas. I recommend it highly and give it five stars.

Easy to use and portable. The suction is strong, but using the oxy solution is a must for deep or set in stains. Overall we would recommend this cleaner for its portability, cleaning power (along with oxy), and ease of use. I still like the spotbot or the pro version because you can set it and let it clean automatically.

This is not my first Bissell Little Green Machine, they work so well that I am now on my third one. This one is built differently than my last two, I'm hoping it's easier to clean out the dirty bucket than the previous machines. It cleans really well and the Bissell cleansing agents are the best! I have used several Bissel products and I've never been disappointed. One of the things I also love about this company is that they donate to help save homeless animals. You can never go wrong with a Bissell!

As an owner of 3 small (< 10 lbs) dogs who spend most of their time indoors, this cleaner is a very handy tool to have on hand. With several throw rugs placed throughout the house, occasional accidents with the dogs are inevitable. When this happens, we simply take the soiled rug out to our screened in porch, plug in the Bissell, and do a quick clean of the entire rug. It only takes a few minutes, and the rug is good to go with no noticeable stain or odor from the accident. Setup is quick and easy. After getting the technique down, cleaning the rugs has become a breeze. We now consider this device to be a "must have" item. It makes dealing with the accidents so much easier than it used to be.

Years ago, when Bissell released their Little Green Clean Machine, it was a huge hit and it stood the test of time. So, I knew that I wouldn't regret ordering this Little Green Max Pet Cleaner. It's an excellent product and performs much better than I ever expected. It's conveniently sized and light enough for me to carry from one room to another without feeling like I'm lugging it around like dead weight. I have two large dogs that seem to think it's their duty to shed all over my carpets multiple times a year. This cleaner works great at picking up their messes without clogging up the machine and jamming the rollers like some of my previous vacuums. I love how I can easily deep clean my dogs' messes and the messes my kids make. This thing is amazing and worth every penny.

As soon as this came in, my senior dog had an accident in the hallway of my apartment building. So with an emergency like this I wanted to be the good neighbor. I had another Bissell vacuum before, and found it to work well, so I was pleased to see this was comparable to that model. The directions are easy to follow, and there are even guides on the answer for to tell you how much water and cleaner to add, so need for a measuring cup for the 2oz or 4oz. And as the suction hose does have a clear window, it shows you a difference in color if it's sucking up something brown (very helpful for me since my dog had an accident on dark carpet). This is very easy to use as well as clean and I did not encounter any issues except for the length of the cable to the power outlet. Since I live in an apartment with a lengthy hallway, with very few outlets, the length was almost disastrous. Personally I wish this did have a rechargeable battery to make it truly portable, otherwise a port nearby is mandatory. In my case, the power outlet was within distance of accident. So at least in my experience, this works out great.
