A mom review on the Bissell icon pet turbo edge cordless vacuum. I was on the quest to find the best cordless vacuum. First, I asked moms what they thought was the best cordless vacuum. Second, I went to an Instagram reviewer page on the top rated cordless vacuums Third, I made a top 4 list and read about each product and read their reviews. I decided to try the Bissell icon pet turbo edge. Once I received it, I was excited to give it a whirl. It’s lightweight and easy to push around. Also it has an on/off button and you don’t have to keep pressing in a button to keep it on like my dyson (that was the moment I should have realized it was crap, when I develop carpal tunnel at an early age, dyson is to blame lol) Next, the Led light is amazing! Wow, what a nice way to be shamed into how dirty your floors are! a reviewer said, if you don’t have a light, you can’t see the dirt, and after using this product, I understand that statement. I was also looking for a product that charges while not in use. I don’t want to take a battery out and have to charge it. As moms when, when we grab a cordless vacuum, we want it full charged and ready to go. Not 5 min into cleaning and a dead battery that requires 4 hrs to charge before using it again, by then a tornado would have come through and destroyed my house. This vacuum doesn’t scrap my hardwoods which is also a plus compared to the devil dyson that loved scratching them up. Let’s talk about the attachments! Oh the attachments! My daughter said oh la la when she saw all of them. I love the pet attachment, it cleaned our couches nicely that were all full of furry pet hair. The extension horse was amazing and let’s also mention it had the Led light also! I was able to get into all the small corners and crevices! Finally, it has 3 suction modes. I used the lowest mode and it got everything. It has medium, high and turbo suction and I don’t even know what mess would require turbo, but I don’t want to be around for that. In conclusion after using one time, I’m very impressed. I hope it lasts longer then my pathetic dyson that died after 2 years but when it died, I was more then happy to throw it into the trash 💀 Hope this helps!! Happy shopping! No better way to inspire yourself to clean then getting a fancy new cordless vacuum!

Good vacuum. Moves very well, easy to clean. The battery dies faster than I would expect a new vacuum should. Other than that, I have 4 dogs and it gets all their hair up. Update: 6 months later, battery doesn’t last very long. I have to be strategic on vacuuming heavy areas first before it dies. It will pick up heavy hair items, but leaves short hair and dust on the hardwood. The plastic cover on the bristles won’t come off and is clogged with hair. The plastic covering on the shaft of the vacuum broke, so it’s loose and moves. Since I missed the window to return, I’ll stick it out a bit longer, but I’m going to have to get a new one. I won’t be getting this vacuum or something from them again.

Best features 1. pivoting head. You can go around obstacles SO easily. Also flattens completely down to about 5 " to go under the couch and beds, refrigerator, countertops, end tables, etc. 2. Won't clog. I have long hair that constantly jams up vacuums requiring me to take it apart and remove the roller and cut the hair off with scissors. 3. The headlight. OK, be prepared to be horrified at how dirty your floors are. The headlight illuminates dirt and debris you would never see with the naked eye. 4. The caddy. You hang the caddy on the wall and when you dock the vacuum, it automatically starts charging. The caddy also stores the four attachments. 5. Cordless. So convenient. When we first got it, I wanted my boyfriend to try it out. He loved it so much, he did the entire house. I thought he was going to continue out the door and down the street. All in all, this thing is life changing. It's so quick and convenient to grab and clean up quick messes. No more reaching for the broom, dustpan, swiffer, and that awful big vacuum. Highly recommended!

Bottom Line: As a secondary vacuum for a house or perhaps a primary vacuum in an apartment this cleaner work well. Many complaints are from those expecting this vacuum to clean their whole house. I don't think it's really designed for that. This is more of a quick, stick-like vacuum which is what I wanted. Pros: Tangle free roller is legit Edge cleaning Powerful Easy to maintain LED lights are bright Accessories are nice Cleans a frizzy rug I have that a $100 stick vac couldn't touch. Wall mount bracket is key. Power adapter sits snuggly in the bracket so when you return the vacuum it automatically starts charging. No need to manually plug the power adapter into the vacuum. Some brackets require this. Accessories attach to the wall mount bracket. Cons: Small dust bin A bit top heavy Doesn't self stand Other: Fairly quiet for the power Battery life is adequate. If you're aren't cleaning a carpet, you can down adjust the power so it doesn't drain the battery as fast. Suction is still fine. On some carpets I find I need to dial down the power setting by one, otherwise the vac is a little too hard to push/pull. Not an issue per se.

Love this vacuum. Only things bad are the trash area is so small you're constantly stopping to empty. Also the battery doesn't last long enough to get the entire house. I'd have to do one half in the morning then let it charge for hours. Then finished in the evening. Twkes forever to charge. Its very convenient though to have no cord that's what I loved. Lightweight and easy to use. If you have a small place with no pets this is perfect. For a bigger place and many dogs, not so much lol.
