I used all 3 functions. Picked up perfectly from wood floors, vinyl floors, laminate, rugs and carpet. It works so well, I didn't even need to use the narrow grey "tip" attachment along baseboards because the suction was so efficient. The hand help option is just as effective. Buy it, you will not regret it. Out of the box assembly easy! I just moved into a home I am renovating it has hardwood floors throughout and I have cats. It’s that time of year when shedding increases and I was going crazy using a dust mop because it seemed to just spread dust and hair around. I started looking for something I could use anywhere in the house that is lightweight with powerful pet hair removing suction and I found it; not only will it remove the pet hair it will also pick up small bits carried in and out of the house on shoes etc. The take apart for using it as a handheld vacuum is straightforward. Cleaning the debris bin and filter are easy. Despite it being so light it feels durable. I mean, don’t use it as a hammer, but if you drop it (from a reasonable height) it’s not going to break. It is small enough that it will tuck into any closet easily, even the minuscule closets in this 120 year old home. The floor attachment and crevice tool connect easily and fit snuggly. It is also reasonably quiet. If you are dealing with any physical maladies or disabilities the weight and ease of use are a big plus. If you are dealing with issues like: arthritis, tendinitis, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, even back injuries or movement issues this will be a handy tool for dusting floors, pet hair clean up, and general tidying up around your abode. Great quality for the price. It doesn’t suck up as well as other vacuums that cost more but for the lightweight feel, it gets the job done. We have 4 cats so litter and hair is always on our laminate flooring and this vacuum is much easier to do a quick cleaning opposed to our regular vacuum.

I have had this blue beauty for 3 years now & it’s still running strong. Very light weight but that suction ain’t light! It can pick up large amounts of dirt so fast & still get the crumbs you can’t see! Moving it around is easy, never awkward. & having it for over 3 years now, it has held up so well. No dings or scratches or anything. Still works just as well as when it was bought. I also clean my filter with water regularly & change when needed. I like to let it sundry for best & quick results. The cord is long enough to get my whole living room. & I have spent hundred on vacuums. But for its price especially?? This is the best. Love it. I ordered this stick vac at the recommendation of a friend who LOVES hers. It's for small spaces and probably not built to service a full size house. We are full-time RVers so I needed something small and powerful. Right out of the box the suction is amazing! It's a fool proof assembly, with simply inserting the stick and away you go. It is a handheld as well, just simply unlatch the stick and remove it. It seems, upon first use, to be well made and the weight is so light, yet it did a great job on the low pile carpet in the pop-out as well as the bare floor. I can't attest to longevity as I've only had it a day and only used it once. I'll update at a later date as to how it continues to work.
