  • Effective and Simple to Use
Style: CrossWave Edge
Glides easily along the floor. Simple 1 button press to change from hard flooring to carpet. Super strong suctioning power. Cleans the floors amazingly. The waste water comes out black. You'd be surprised how dirty your floors are even after swiffering. A must have for a clean home. Be sure to clean the machine after each use. It's easy to do. ... show more

  • easy to assemble, cleans hardwood floors
Style: CrossWave Edge
Seems to work pretty well at cleaning if the dirty water in the dump tank is any indication. It was easy to assemble, the handle just clicked into place and it was ready to use. This has two modes, one for hard floors and one for area rugs. Unfortunately the included manual doesn't tell you what the cryptic symbols on the handle mean. From a video on the Bissell site it turns out that when you power it on the unit is in hard floor mode. One critique I'd make is that this unit, unlike most other Bissell wet/dry models, doesn't have a trigger to dispense the cleaning solution. When it's running it's spraying, so you can't let go of the trigger in order to make an extra pass if you just want to dry the floor a bit more. It isn't a big deal, but if I had known this in advance I probably would have purchased a model with a trigger because we're going to (hopefully) live with this vacuum for many years and I would have liked the flexibility. ... show more

  • Definitely recommend!
Style: CrossWave Edge
Great product, leaves the place spotless. I have 2 cats and this vaccum mop works well to keep the fur and dirt from building up. I only use it once a week and place stays clean for days. It’s also easy to clean the filter and store. Worth the price!

  • I like it.
Style: CrossWave Edge
UPDATE 8/7/25: I reached out to Bissell customer service and they gave me a return shipping label to ship it to Bissell and they sent me a new one. This new one operates as it should. I am pleased with the cleaner. I have a Bissell Spinwave also but I much prefer this one. The Spinwave leaves too many circular streaks and I feel like it just pushes dirt and grime around. I like that with this model, it applies cleaner to the floor and the roller brush mops it and then it sucks up the solution back into a dirty water tank. I do not notice streaks on the floor, and I feel like they are cleaner than when I use the Spinwave model. I do feel it is worth noting that the machine is supposed to wet the floor, using a forward motion and vacuum it back up when you pull the unit back towards you. I have read other reviews that stated their machine operates in the opposite manner. I received a unit that was “defective” and operated in reverse. Like others, mine wet the floor when I pulled it backwards and suction it back up moving forward. Again, this is opposite of how it should be. I contacted Bissell customer support and they suggested either returning to Amazon. And buying or I could send it back to Bissell and they would send me a new one. The unit is pretty loud, but I can deal with that. My house is all hardwood floors and ceramic tile so I cannot comment on how this performs on carpet. However, again, I am satisfied with the machine and will be even more so once I receive my new one from Bissell that operates correctly. ... show more

  • This is not a LIGHT vac/mop - very heavy to lift
Style: CrossWave Edge
Not a bad mop/vac for the money. it's corded, so it will give you more suction than a battery one and you don't have to worry about running out of a charge; I got lots of refills for it. Had it for a few days so far and it seems to be a good vac - lots of suction, mop is easy to do and clean - good cleaning action when done. BUT IT IS NOT LIGHT, IT'S HEAVY TO LIFT. Other than that, it moves nicely when working, water comes out going forward and picks it up pulling back. There's always the 30 return, but if there's no problems by that time I'll keep it. ... show more

  • SAD and very Dissappointed! WAS so excited, but NOT excited after trying it!
Style: CrossWave Edge
I usually am thrilled with my Bissell machines- but, this one, I was literally stunned in a bad way. So to get the edging technology, you lose the ability to control when solution is dispensed and when it's NOT!!! When you push forward itt vacuums, push it backward it AUTOMATICALLY dispenses the solution using up about 4 times as much solution, AND you literally have to pick it up, LIFT the entire thing back and then go forward to get it to vacuum up the moisture! I am almost in tears, I'm so frustrated and disappointed at this design! I adored my previous 2211 series model because I could sweep/vacuum the floor DRY. IMPOSSIBLE with this model!! It was so wonderful walking away with completely dry floors! This one- the 75% more suction is there, but it's there EXACTLY when you DON'T need it. Lol!!! I don't want the machine to dictate when the solution is released! It's like oh look, first floor gets vaccumed swept, then mopped, but dont dare pull it backwards or it will re-spray your floors! Like soneone throwing or spilling liquid on your nice dry floor! Why Bissel thought this was a good design is beyond me! The brush on this model does NOT have nylon bristles which really clean grout and hard to scrub places very well either, like the previius version. This one gets it "clean"- but just "ok", and leaves the floor wet Not to mention you can't set the cleaning solution to a small cleaning area vs large. No, you have to fill the ENTIRE solution bottle mix. I'd spend a small fortune on solution alone with this model. I couldnt even fugure out how to get the filter out. Bissell, your original one had two flaws- make the brush go to BOTH edges, (on this one it only gets ONE edge, and make the roller brush cover easier to remove. That was all it needed. I wanted to give this a 5 star review so much! But, I can't. Both the solution tank and the dirty water tank are not as good quality as my previous version either. The connector for the solution bottle that you flip upside down is surprisingly low quality and difficult to screw into place. That's why people report leaking. PLEASE Try again, Bissell, this one is just NOT for me. I'll most likely go back to the previous version, which I liked so much I influenced several people to purchase and even gave one to someone! SO Dissapointed this time!! Packing it up to send it back after one quick use, that used HALF the cleaning solution in the soltion bottle for a very small test area, because there is no spray button that I can use to control when it sprays AND when it vacuums or doesn't. ... show more
