Style: CrossWave Edge
OMG!!! I have been using an old scrubber for nearly 20 years and I could only use it on tile. Most of my home is sealed hardwood so I was forced to push a mop around to clean the kitchen, hallways and living areas. With this little gem, I just cleaned my tile bathroom floors and my hardwood floors in about half the time and the amount of dirt and grime that got sucked into the cup was incredible! My floors look amazing and I am not worn out from pushing a mop around for hours. Thank you, Bissell for this great product. P.S. It is a little loud, so I recommend noise cancelling headphones. Once you use this, though, you'll be happy to tolerate the noise. I recommend spending a little extra to get the edge-cleaning feature as it truly does go right to the baseboards. It's lightweight and the articulated brush head gives it great maneuverability around objects and corners. It is well worth the money, does a beautiful job and the floors smell clean and fresh. It's relatively small size makes it easy to handle and it is well made with no leaks. You won't regret this purchase. ... show more

  • Good machine but remove the dispensing tank for "dry only" mode.
Style: CrossWave Edge
Good, not great. This is a decent machine. It will clean your hard floors and low pile rugs/carpets much better than a traditional mop system. There are some drawbacks. It does not have a "dry only" mode. The work around to this issue is to pull the solution take off and keep mopping. Then it will vacuum only without dispensing more fluid. Keep in mind it takes a pass or two before the dispenser in the machine runs out. Suction seems decent but less than the Hoover Streamline. The Streamline also has the dry only mode and a light on the head. ... show more

  • Best money I have EVER spent!!!
Style: CrossWave Edge
So light weight. easy to set up . Easy to clean, Does a fabulous job. Saves me TONS of time without sacrificing clean floors. I have water shortages so being able to clean a whole room with a cup of clean water is a miracle. Disposing of the waste water is easy and cleaning the waste water canister is quick and easy. I cant stop praising this product to all my family and friends. The self clean roller is a God send. ... show more

  • If you have an original Crosswave READ THIS BEFORE BUYING
Style: CrossWave Edge
I LOVE my CossWave Turbo. I have used it for years and still love it. However, it leaves that 1" gap at the edge and I really wanted the Edge for that. I should have looked into this more as I see now that others have complained about this machine, but overall the rating are good and I just ASSUMED it would be the same - just better with the edge. NOPE. I'm not sure why they think this is an upgrade. You CANNOT control the water. I only saw one other person mention this, so I Googled it and read that you could control it with a button. Not true. The instruction manual explains that it is not true - so the search gave false info. With the Turbo, you can control the outflow of water. Super useful for going over areas where you need more water or without - to dry the floor quicker. The Edge ONLY dispenses water when you pull back. You push forward and it vacuums, pull back and it dispenses water. How do you suck up that water? You push forward again....but now you have to pull back...and there is more water. The only words that come to mind for the logic behind this process are not allowed. :( Additionally, the "edge" is only on the right side. Sure, if your floor has access to allow you to go along the edge always on the right that would work...my house is not like that. There are several areas and corners I can only access from the left...where there is no edge function. Useless. On top of THAT, it doesn't clean evenly. Yes, I know how to use the machine, I've had one for YEARS and use it multiple times a month. Maybe there is another brush that would work better for hardwoods than the one that comes with it, but it seems to not be touching the floor except in a few places. I don't know if you can tell from the pic well, but those are DRY spots in between the wet. This is after using the machine for about 20 minutes, letting it pump water for several minutes in the beginning to get the brush wet, AND going very slow. The brush was totally wet, but it wasn't making contact with the floor. Ugh. Total waste of money. I tried for a couple months to like this and make it work, but I just can't. Hate it more than anything I have bought in a long time. ... show more

  • This is not a LIGHT vac/mop - very heavy to lift
Style: CrossWave Edge
Not a bad mop/vac for the money. it's corded, so it will give you more suction than a battery one and you don't have to worry about running out of a charge; I got lots of refills for it. Had it for a few days so far and it seems to be a good vac - lots of suction, mop is easy to do and clean - good cleaning action when done. BUT IT IS NOT LIGHT, IT'S HEAVY TO LIFT. Other than that, it moves nicely when working, water comes out going forward and picks it up pulling back. There's always the 30 return, but if there's no problems by that time I'll keep it. ... show more

I bought this for my sister as a gift she wanted. She says it works well, but wished it was a little wider. Overall a good machine to have.

  • I like it.
Style: CrossWave Edge
UPDATE 8/7/25: I reached out to Bissell customer service and they gave me a return shipping label to ship it to Bissell and they sent me a new one. This new one operates as it should. I am pleased with the cleaner. I have a Bissell Spinwave also but I much prefer this one. The Spinwave leaves too many circular streaks and I feel like it just pushes dirt and grime around. I like that with this model, it applies cleaner to the floor and the roller brush mops it and then it sucks up the solution back into a dirty water tank. I do not notice streaks on the floor, and I feel like they are cleaner than when I use the Spinwave model. I do feel it is worth noting that the machine is supposed to wet the floor, using a forward motion and vacuum it back up when you pull the unit back towards you. I have read other reviews that stated their machine operates in the opposite manner. I received a unit that was “defective” and operated in reverse. Like others, mine wet the floor when I pulled it backwards and suction it back up moving forward. Again, this is opposite of how it should be. I contacted Bissell customer support and they suggested either returning to Amazon and buying a new one or I could send it back to Bissell and they would send me a new one. The unit is pretty loud, but I can deal with that. My house is all hardwood floors and ceramic tile so I cannot comment on how this performs on carpet. However, again, I am satisfied with the machine and will be even more so once I receive my new one from Bissell that operates correctly. ... show more
