I bought this for my garden nearly 2 years ago because I wanted a main hose that would last and not prove a hassle every time I used it, as I've experienced busts, leaks, kinks, knots, etc. with hoses in the past. Granted, I live in the South where weather below 20 degrees is almost unheard of, so the hose doesn't get tested to great extremes. However, the freezes that easily busted my expandable latex (crappy & cheap) extensions off this hose left this one unscathed. So after a year or so, I bought another. Tonight there's a freeze warning, so both of these hoses will undergo something of a test. Of all the things I stand to lose out of my garden, however, I just doubt it'll be these two main hoses. I'll follow up to let you know. The takeaway? Both of these hoses are used as mains--having smaller, cheaper, and more flexible hoses coming off of them, as these mains seem to have sacrificed maneuverability for durability. They are stiff and relatively heavy, and moving them around a lot may be why they did not hold up for other folks, so I suggest running them from the house to some splitters, and using the cheap stuff at the end, knowing you'll probably have to replace those far more often.

This hose seems to be well made and works well, time will tell. But unless you have a wall hanger or storage box to roll it up in, it's not easy to round up and store in a container or storage room. I use a large plant pot for my hoses and it is time consuming trying to get it in there. Not like the 'stretchy' hoses. Also, it doesn't seem to drain easily. I tend to 'milk' the water out before putting it in place.

I love this hose - I love that it's lightweight which makes it easy to handle, and that so far I've had no problem with it kinking up. I cannot yet speak to the durability, because I've only had the hose for a few weeks. I actually have two - I was so happy with the first, I ordered another one, and would order more as more of my older hoses develop leaks.
