Assembly was pretty straight forward. The rack has a slight rise from the hitch allowing better clearance on driveways and dips. This also means you have to lift your bikes slightly higher as well, without a ramp. Can be done by one, but two sets of hands helps. The weight of the rack is in the lower range of available racks which is nice when attaching/removing from vehicle. A nice feature is that the hitch pin is actually a bolt which tightens the rack to the hitch w/ out any wobbles (24 mm wrench SUPPLIED!). It also has a keyed lock to prevent theft. If your bikes have fenders (mine do) make sure the front fender is fairly short in front as the balance arm has to be high on top, behind the center of the wheel. This arm just barely fits under the front 1" of my fenders and holds them securely. Overall, VERY pleased with this rack after my first use (320 mi round trip). Price is amazing for the quality/stability. As I said, only drawback is there is no ramp/option so have to lift bikes.

I've had this for about 6 months now. Worth every penny. I almost want to take a star off because the lever to drop it and raise it can be a little "catchy". It's not very smooth. But you know what. I see these things selling for $600 for high end ones. To get one at this price to save the paint on my frame. Worth it! I had a bike rack that supported the frame of the bike. This actually started to rub through the clear coat and paint on my frame. I needed one like this that just held the bike by its tires. This accepts all styles of bikes. My wife's little box store bicycle (behind mine in photo) To my actual MTB. Running 29s or 27.5s? No problem. Cheap little box store bicycle. No problem This thing has held my bike stable driving for up to 10hrs straight to get too the mountains I want to ride. Wish the lever was smoother but again. For the price. 5 stars.

This is a superb value for the price. I was looking at Kuat and similar products, but for less than a third or fourth of their price, this model is 90% of the quality. Quite rigid and stable although some minimal rocking left to right. The lever actuated tilt and stow function works perfectly. I may get a Kuat at some point for our EV SUV to carry 4 bikes, but this is terrific on our older minivan.

Impressed with how rugged the rack is for the price. My only complaint is the rack sticks out further than I would like, which puts excessive leverage on the hitch. I moved the mounts forward to help with that since I put it on a small car

Excellent for the price ! I placed this on a 2021 Subaru forester. I had to move the two bike slides all the way out to the end so that the swing arms fits properly when the rack is in the folded position otherwise all works great !

If you have a trunk that rises upward, this will work, but if you have a tailgate that swings out to the side like on a jeep, this rack blocks you from being able to open up the rear of the vehicle as seen in my pic
