I would give this seller 6-stars, if I could! I'm a giant guy.... 6'4" and almost 400lbs. I've have a "C" Hermann Miller Aeron chair that is just too small and uncomfortable, so I was looking for something bigger and better. It was hard to tell how big this chair was from the pictures, since it seems normally proportioned, but its a really big chair! I finally have plenty of room and don't feel like I'm being squeezed in by the armrests... its great! The chair is also rock-solid and able to hold my 400lbs with ease. The Amazon photos don't show it well, but the base is a heavy welded steel frame under the plastic trim. The chair is very well built and was a snap to put together. All the parts were supplied in a blister pack and fit together easily with tools that are supplied in the box. The chair is also very comfortable and the seat and back foam support well. The only complaint I had was a tear in the seat cloth caused by the heavy metal parts moving around inside the box during shipping. However that was quickly fixed by the seller when I emailed them about the problem. They simply asked me to send them a quick photo of the damage and then they shipped me a new seat quickly and with no hassle! Great customer service! I'll definitely be buying more of these chairs for my other office spaces where I work. ... show more

I am 70 and needed a large, sturdy chair to maintain posture and reduce back ache while I sit at my desk. This chair is perfect for that. It's comfortable and strong. It was easy to put together. There are a couple of negatives but they don't take away from the rating of the chair. It is what it is. It only took 30 minutes to put together the chair, but I spent and additional 30 minutes looking for a part that was already snapped on to another part. Even though the arms are adjustable, they do not lower enough to allow the chair to push up under the desk. The chair will rock or lean back if you adjust it to do so but the seat does not move with the back. You have to use your legs to recline. I purposely looked at chairs without headrests because I fall asleep so easily. If you want a headrest, this chair is not for you. Now, I'm off to enjoy a comfortable hour of WOW without falling asleep! ... show more

Working from home, i had been sitting on a diningroom chair with a cushion for way too many months so I finally decided it was time to get myself an office chair. The chair had to hold at least 300 lbs and be under $200. After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this chair and I am happy I did. It arrived pretty quickly and with minimal outside box damage. Everything was wrapped nicely. I arranged everything on the floor and double checked I received everything I was supposed to. Once that process was done, it took me probably 40 minutes total to put the chair together. I'm sure it would take some people less time but I'm not accustomed to putting things together so I'm probably really slow. I realized towards the end of assembly that the back plastic piece that clicks onto the back, had a broken clasp. I then proceeded to plug in the "massage" portion of the chair to see if it worked - I knew going into this that the massage feature was hit or miss with some people. It barely worked. I then contacted Amazon to ask about a replacement back plastic piece and massage unit. Unfortunately the ONLY option you have is to do a full chair replacement - they could not just send parts. I explained that the entire chair was assembled at this point and I had no intention of taking it apart so they offered me a $35 credit. Since my main concern was a chair, and It appeared I now had a decent one, I took the credit. The back plastic piece clicked on anyway as there are several other notches. On to the chair itself. I usually sit down in the morning around 7:30am and work until 6pm. I might get up every few hours (not nearly enough), but for the most part I live in this chair for 10 hours a day. For a chair under $200, this is a very decent chair. By 3pm, my underside starts to hurt a bit but it's certainly better than what I was sitting in before. The arms adjust, the height adjusts, it has decent lumbar support if you sit back in it. You can feel the massage unit slightly when you sit back but nothing that hinders me from doing so. At first I was slightly disappointed because I was comparing the comfort of this chair to the one in my physical office (pre pandemic) but realized that you cannot compare a $500 chair with a $150 chair. If you have to stay within a budget under $200 and need a "plus size" chair, this is the one. ... show more
