I installed the Empava 36" Gas Cooktop a few days after it arrived, and I’m impressed with both the build quality and performance. The stainless steel finish looks sleek and modern in my kitchen, and the cast iron grates feel heavy-duty and durable. Installation was surprisingly easy. It fit perfectly in the cutout, and everything was clearly labeled. I’ve attached a photo of the finished setup to show how clean and smooth the installation turned out. Getting this installed required enlarging our 30” existing opening in our countertop (sawing granite) - pretty normal course of action. Our plumber did the tricky gas hook up. We discovered a part was missing from the shipment. One of the ring and cap sets from one of the burners. Both Amazon and the manufacturer were very responsive and made this right within a few days. Adjusting to the differences in operating this cooktop compared to our ancient one has been discovering that this new one puts out more heat than the prior one - but, this is a good thing! The middle burner is for wok cooking and grilling. Nice to have. So far operational and we are “cooking like crazy“!
