I recently bought a PS5 and the chair I was using was an old dining room chair that was rock hard in the seat and giving me sciatic and back pain like you wouldn't believe, and my couch is too far away from the screen to be usable. Decided it was time to finally buy a gaming chair, but was a little hesitant because with me being 350 lbs and a little "roomy at the hips", I really didn't know if it would be comfortable, and I couldn't sit in it before deciding to go ahead with the purchase. Let me tell you I'm glad I bought it!!! The seat cushion is not ultra plush or anything, but it does provide the right amount of support so that I don't feel the frame under my rear end. It's also wide enough that I'm not hanging off the sides, and because of that, the armrests are also spaced far enough apart that I don't feel like I'm stuffed in the chair at all. The seat back is comfy and, even though they didn't show it in the pictures here, it did indeed come with the extra lumbar cushion that you see in the photos of the model sold here under the "VON RACER" name. The chair feels very sturdy, even when using the rocker function, and I don't feel unsteady or like the chair is going to give out at all. That was something I was really worried about. The height adjustment is also nice. I have it all the way down and that's perfect for my height. If you're tall you won't have any problems since this thing can go really high if you need it. The armrests aren't plush, they're plastic, and even though it would have been nice to have had them upholstered, they aren't uncomfortable. They're also adjustable just like in the product description. Now for the assembly. First off, this chair is rather heavy, and getting the box upstairs by myself was a bit of a challenge. You might need help with that. Instructions were very straightforward and easy to follow. I put it together by myself and it took me just over an hour, mostly because the final two screws you have to install are really short and it required a bit of wrestling with (and cursing at) the plastic covers on the sides to get the holes aligned in order to put them in. Also two of the casters were hard to snap in, but they eventually did. One thing I would recommend is that you put the paddles that control seat height and rocker lockout on so that they face the REAR of the seat instead of the front like in the booklet. Having them face front makes them unnecessarily hard to get to, and I don't know why they said to put them in that way. Overall, I'm perfectly happy with this chair and my butt and back are as well!

What an upgrade from my previous office chair. I wasn't familiar with this brand but I wanted to upgrade my previous office chair and I liked the looks of this one. This chair is high quality and has a really cool designer look to it with a nice amount of detail. It's extremely sturdy and very comfortable. It rolls smooth on my carpet. It has a decent amount of features too. It went together easily in aprox 15 min. It's everything I wanted in a chair and more. The only surprise was it's better than I expected. Will update the review 3 months from now. So far the chair has been great for the past week. As a 6'4 person I find it wonderful that I can actually put my head on a headrest instead of the headrest on my neck. I also like to sit crisscross and I find there's enough room for my legs to fit on the chair. Not sure if this is because I slouch or the design of the chair, but I noticed that I can only use the headrest comfortably if I'm actually resting and not on my PC. Comfort wise it feels like I'm sitting on a typical chair. I am 215 lbs and I do find the cushion to be kind of firm, but I think the chair is designed for someone with a little more to love and it would probably be a little more squishy for them. I do think over the next few months as break in the chair it will form to my body a little better. Assembling the chair is pretty straightforward. My only complaint is the armrest should be marked whether it's left or right. It's subtle but there is a difference in how much armrests can move in the forward/backwards direction. If you mix them up the armrests could be too close to your elbows. This is not an ergonomic style chair though, so do not expect to have peak support in all the areas. I would compare this more to a comfortable chair for TV watching in the house with a bit more adjustability. Plus for the price is still a really great deal. UPDATE: So far it's been a great chair. Cushion is still nice and has formed a bit better to my body which I like. Only negative is after three months I noticed on the left side backrest to bench connection (side without angle adjustment) has become creaky. This creak is within the backrest itself and I think related what the bolts anchor to. Sadly it's not customer serviceable without taking apart the fabric. Thankfully I don't notice it when I have my headset on so I guess that's a plus.

I really wish I could give this chair a top-notch review—let me explain. Two years ago, I got this chair at work after my boss asked what I wanted to replace my old one. I went with this model based on a coworker's recommendation. He’s also a very large guy (we’re both 6’4” and over 315 lbs), so I figured if it worked for him, it’d work for me. At work, this chair has been amazing: super comfortable, durable, and perfect for long hours managing the network and systems that keep the company running. I liked it so much I bought the exact same chair for home a year later. Between side hustles, my homelab, and the rare time I actually get to game, I spend a lot of time in it. But here’s the problem: straight out of the box, the gear system that adjusts the back angle has been a rodeo ride. If I lean it even one notch back from fully upright, it tries to launch me. We're talking full recline or ramrod straight—no in-between. If I sit back just a little, it flops like it’s trying to buck me off. I’m not a cowboy, and no one’s lasting 8 seconds on this thing when it decides to fold. What’s worse, my coworker has the exact opposite problem: his work chair throws him back, and his home one throws him forward. So between the two of us, we’ve got four chairs and two with busted back mechanisms. That’s a 50% failure rate on one very specific (and important) part. Aside from that? It’s fantastic. Truly built for big guys. Comfortable for marathon sessions. The rest of it holds up great. But buyer beware: if the back adjustment fails, it’s not a small thing—it’s the kind of flaw that ruins an otherwise excellent chair.

This chair will be great for most people. If by Big and Tall you mean (kinda chunky) and Tall, yeah. But if you’re pushing that 400lb mark and you’re perhaps a notch or two above (kinda chunky) this chair is not the answer to your prayers. Don’t get me wrong, it’s marginally better than a standard gaming chair, and feels sturdy enough to hold the weight, but fit and comfort wise this chair is not made for the Big in Big and Tall. The seat is only slightly wider than a standard gaming chair seat, and it mimics the racing seat style with the raised edges, which does not really make for a comfy seating experience mostly. The arm rests are already hugging my butt, I don’t need the seat to. If you can’t afford the $500 price point of chairs that are truly built for the Big in Big and Tall, I recommend getting an extra gel pad above and beyond the provided one to soften the blow of the racing seat shape and it will honestly be sturdier and comfier than any standard gaming chair on the market while still being relatively inexpensive.

Chair is very comfortable and was very nice however within 2 months of having it the left hinge of the back support broke and the chair leaned back. I have always had this issue with chairs and understand I am a big guy. However it shows its rated for 440 pounds and I am sitting around 350. I still was not upset at that fact however, what I was upset about was it shows that they have a 1 year parts warranty and I requested a new hinge and explained the situation and I got an email back with only a " , " in it. So assuming it was an error to only send me a comma back I emailed again and have not received any response now months later. I love the chair but unfortunately the customer service aspect ruined it for me. If you are a smaller than me person maybe under 320 then it would probably be a good chair for you but the weight rating in my opinion is not what it says. I assume chair weight ratings refer to the shock and not being able to lean back in it. Again I loved the chair, I just wish I could have gotten it fixed like the warranty stated.
