The inflatable hot tub has garnered positive attention for its size, robust hydrojets and airjets, comfortable seating, and high-tech features, making it a luxurious yet affordable option for home relaxation. Despite initial skepticism over its inflatable design, users have praised its ease of setup (with the right tools), durability, and the therapeutic effect of the jets. It's particularly noted for comfortably accommodating two adults, though four can fit snugly, providing a full-body massage experience that rivals more expensive, hard-shell models.

Pros

  • 🔹 Spacious design fitting for two adults comfortably
  • 🌊 Powerful hydrojets and airjets for a thorough massage experience
  • 🛠️ Easy setup with the help of online tutorials despite vague instructions
  • 💡 Includes high-tech features like lighted jets for ambiance
  • 👍 Effective even in cold climates, maintaining a comfortable temperature
  • 🌟 Durability and reliability that matches more expensive models

Cons

  • ⚙️ Hydrojets and heater cannot run simultaneously, requiring strategy in usage
  • 🔄 Takes time to reach the desired temperature
  • 🔌 Requires a specific, possibly non-standard, electrical setup
  • ⚠️ Some users reported a faulty pump, though customer service appears responsive
  • 🚫 A complaint about the filter size being too small for effective water cleaning

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for a cost-effective alternative to a hard-shell hot tub without sacrificing luxury, this inflatable hot tub is an excellent choice. Despite minor inconveniences like managing jet and heater usage or the need for a special electrical outlet, the overwhelming user feedback is positive, emphasizing comfort, therapeutic benefits, and enjoyment even in colder climates. If you have the space and are ready for a bit of DIY setup, this hot tub could be a stellar addition to your home.

  • Great Choice

I chose this hot tub for size, the hydrojets on the sidewall, the numerous airjets, the seat, & the technology. It was a little nerve racking spending so much on the inflatable design but overall it was the best choice. In reading numerous reviews on inflatables I found the biggest regret was buying too small. This is really good for two adults in my opinion, but four is doable. My greatest surprise was how well the airjets massage the whole body...it feels incredible! There is a 2nd inner circle of airjets in the bottom middle that massages your legs & feet. If you sit just right against the wall the outer ring of airjets will massage your entire back, & then bring your arms to the sides to get the full effect. You'll have to sink low to get your neck & upper shoulder region but you can place your feet against the opposite seat to hold you down so you don't float upwards. The hydrojets are good for the areas needing pressure, which uses the same pump as the heater so the heat shuts off when the hydrojets are in use. I use the airjets first so the water continues to heat, then I use the hydrojets to finish the job (can't use both at the same time.) Keep it at 104 degrees due to mild fluctations while in use, & keep the lid on when not in use. The lighted jets can replace any hydrojet hole, & I placed them where I felt the jets would be used less often as the stream has less power. The picture with the lid off shows tiny bubbles as I had just turned off the airjets (initially I was concerned as I thought maybe it was a chemical imbalance.) I bought a 1 inch thick mat (comes in 24" puzzle pieces) for protection & support. Make sure you get enough mat to go under the pump as the pump must align for plumbing lines. I set up my 10'x10' tent with weights to protect from the weather as the lid dips down & collects rainwater, & the tent is large enough to also cover the electronics. The plugin is huge & will not fit any ordinary outside electric box so you will need an electrician to install a proper outlet on the exterior wall of your house (see last picture.) You can use an extension cord (keep the plugin high & dry) until you can get this done, but that is not a permanent solution regarding safety concerns. The manufacturer video shows a woman setting up the tub. She must have been a bodybuilder because I could not have done this without my husband, who is very strong. I have concerns about this manufacturer when the time comes for pump replacement or repairs of any sort, but I chose to take the risk because there was no way I could afford a hard shell hot tub, and they appear no less reliable than the rest of the inflatable tub manufacturers. As popular as the inflatable hot tub is now, I hope all manufacturers will continue to make needed improvements. Also, my husband is a master mechanic so I leave it in his good hands to solve any problems. I'm lucky in this way that I can make what I feel is a somewhat risky financial venture. You may contemplate a cheaper/smaller model for less financial risk, but the reward will not be as satisfactory, in my opinion. This has been the best decision I have made for my well being in a long time. I hope it lasts!...and so does my cat! ... show more

  • Meeting expectations so far

Bought this tub specifically because it came with both air and hydro jets. To my surprise it has built in seats all around so no need to purchase any. Very comfortable. Comes with headrest as well. Big enough to stretch out. Jets are soothing, heat feels good. Worth the money

  • Hard to believe…
Style: Standard
So….I never really thought I’d drop a grand for an inflatable hot tub. I kind of thought a cheesy way of trying to have one. I got convinced because my wife and one of my co workers have told me that some of their friends had ones that they got from Costco. I started researching because I wanted something a little bigger than those. I found this one and pulled the trigger and ordered it. YouTube is your friend when it comes to set up. It is easy but the instructions are pretty vague. I believe I had a faulty pump and bright it up with the seller and they sent me a new one. So far…I love this thing. I have it set in my garage where the average temp is between 30-40 degrees. I have it set to 104 and I have been able to sit in it with the HydroJet and bubbles going with no issue of it getting to cool to sit in. It’s super sturdy and all in all I can’t really believe how much I have been enjoying this thing. ... show more

  • Retailer was very responsive to our pump not working (new).
Style: Standard
Very nice large size. Two spa options are nice and tub heats to a hot 104 degrees quite nicely. Comfortable floor that includes raised inflatable seating. The first pump arrived with the spa not working but the retailer was very responsive (although it required communication through Amazon as there was no phone number to call for assitance. ... show more

Love this. It is really big and durable. It hold 5 people comfortably and has a little bench on the bottom. I like the lights and the fact that it has hydro jets and air jets

Update 08/12/2023 The tablet holder device that is on the side of the tub is worthless. leave it off and get a bromine floater. There is no water flowing through it and it doesn't dissolve the Bromine tablets. im not sure what they were thinking with it, save yourself the headache and get a tablet floater. to save money, we don't use the confusing timer thing. leave if off or maybe filtering overnight, in the morning we take off the lid and the sun pummels the thing and gets it hot before noon. When the sun goes down then you turn on the heat system and cover it. Also, there seems to be some wierd thing going on with the temperature sensor. if you are heating the tub and have it set to 94F it will stay heating for hours.... but when the hydrojets come on the temp jumps to 104F degrees. which could indicate why these don't last beyond 1.5 years... the box is HEAVY!!! 160lbs +/- you are going to need help. that, or do it yourself and heal your hernia with the tub after its up and going. getting it out of the box was simple and straightforward but then that is where the issues start there is NO INSTRUCTIONS in the box we went through everything. and the guide we found online from bestway are confusing to the point where it shows a picture of all the points and sections with letters and numbers but then never says what they are or how to use. AFTER STUDY online the tub, inside seat and lid inflated really fast for its size. and it only took about an hour to fill with water. The filtering system BARELY MOVES. you can hear something running but not much is going on. It took FOREVER FOR it to heat to 100F 24hours with lid on. However, it does Hold the heat really well and with the lid off with the hydro jets running it did not cool off but a couple degrees ( there is an outside video of setting up the timers so it will save energy) the inside seats are a nice addition and make it a lot nicer, the hydrojets are nice it gives a little of the feel of a hard tub, the most interesting part is the airjets, they are not the aquarium bubbler kind they actually are really kinda nice . TIP: you cannot use the Airjets and the Hydrojets simultaneously, also the heat filter system will stay on with the airjets which is kinda a money spender because it can't recoup the heat loss. the headrests are strange and a joke. we tried and it seemed better without them. the led ADD ON jets for LED LIGHTING are bad, they "WORK" , but not well. the water jetting out of them is clearly not as strong as the standard jet and we purchased separate lighting inside so it could always be on not just when the hydro jets are on. the best thing is that it is portable so it can be moved inside or out and you don't need 10 Friends to come and help move it like a hard tub. the pump unit is considerably larger than the small model "MIami" this one is the one to buy just don't get to excited if you contact customer support. ... show more
