I came from riding motorcycles where a full face helmet is the norm. When I started riding a mountain e-bike I wanted something with more overall protection than the standard cycling helmet I have for road use. After a lot of reviews I settled on this one and it has ticked the boxes I expected. It's light, looks good, appears to be well made, and comes with a couple of sets of cheek pads to fit different rider's heads. Only two things of note. 1st, it comes with 30mm and 25mm cheek pads, and I have a larger head and a set of 20mm or possibly 15mm would have made it a little less snug. It's not "too tight" but it is a bit on the tight side for me. 2nd, contrary to the user manual, only one of the straps is adjustable, so you can't adjust it to properly center the chin strap buckle. Seems like an odd discrepancy - though not a show stopper. Those two factors (the Large being a bit small and the non-adjustable strap) knock off one star. Otherwise, this is a great helmet for the price. ... show more

My son got an e-bike for Xmas. I felt the usual bike helmet was not enough protection especially with the faster bike. I wanted something that was similar to a regular bike helmet but with a full face. But not a motorcross helmet (we have those for four wheeling and they’d be too warm). This helmet fit the bill. It’s as light as any bike helmet, has a lot of ventilation to keep cool in the Florida heat. The fit was perfect. We got a large and my son’s head is 57 cm. It came with thicker cheek pads options which we swapped in. Visibility is great. You could easily fit goggles if needed. Overall quality is super nice too.
