Unboxing took about 20 minutes ONLY because I just opened and dumped. Everything was organized and labeled until it came to me. Because everything was organized and labeled it was minutes to recuperate and we were off. It took 1:37:48 times to have uo and ready to go with a 46, 40, and 17 year olds only. It probably would have only taken the 30 minutes if I hadn’t dumped everything out and we hand an additional person. All in all: great purchase and worth every penny! Here are a few things to keep in mind: 1. It is an above ground pool and if you want it to look like anything else, you need to put serious money into a deck and such. 2. DO NOT under any circumstances purchase the Amazon recommended additional products. They do not for. They were never ment to fit. And Amazon swill jot easily refund. 3. Filtration, which is included, is a must to keep up on. This is a filtration system NOT a pool cleaner. You don’t clean the filter and the pool , you will have a swamp situation! This is not on the quality of the pool, it is result of the owners lack of care! ... show more

The set up was slightly more difficult than the instructions say so be prepared for that. It will probably take you at least an hour to an hour and a half to put it together. Having a partner to help you is pretty essential especially when it comes time to stand the pool up. After reading so many reviews stating the included pump was insufficient, I didn't even bother with it. I ordered the Bestway Flow Clear 1500 GPH filter pump and it has worked great. As far as leveling, my pool dips slightly down hill. Probably more than the suggested range but we have not had any issues thus far. I'd estimate it being close to 2 inches off of level. Other random thoughts: Be sure to only fill your pool with a regular water hose and monitor it closely while filling. Be there to adjust the supports as the water fills because you could run into a huge issue if your supports aren't aligned correctly. Also using a hose water filter was a great suggestion I read and really helped to get my pool water off to a good start. The one I used was purchased on Amazon as well by the brand Keten Garden. Using a large blue tarp and 12, 6 inch clamps spring metal clamps has served as a great pool cover and even gives some of the same benifits of those pricey solar covers but for a FRACTION of the price. Again, not as good but does a decent job of holding some of the warmth in and great at keeping leaves out. Both of those items were purchased on Amazon. I know that many people wonder about power usage. With the new pump, I only have to run my filter about 2 or maybe 3 hours a day in conjunction with filling the included chlorine dispenser with 6, 1 inch chrolrine tablets weekly to have my water crystal clear. The ones I use were here on Amazon as well. The brand is GLB 71250A. Back to the the energy stuff, I have seen about an 9 dollar jump in my monthly bill. Also I did not have to rewire my home electric as I was very nervous about this. I have standard service and I do not have an outlet that is close to my pool to run the pump. So I thought initially I would have to have the electric company come and install an outlet near the pool in order to run the pump and potentially have to overhaul my service in order to support the pump. After reading and researching all over the place, I took a slight leap and purchased a Watts Wire 50ft GFCI 12/3 Heavy Duty 3 Outlet SJTW Indoor/Outdoor extension cord. This too has run FLAWLESSLY for me. I have not had a single issue. Cord has not been hot to the touch or anything like that. I'm not an electrician so I'd not take my situation as gospel but hopefully my experience with this set up can help you make your own decision. I purchased the Poolaza pool skimmer net and brush for skimming things off the top of the water and brushing the walls of the pool weekly to make sure algae doesn't develop. Also got the Pool Whale Mini Jet Vacuum Cleaner brush with bag to suck up all the crud and debris that may sink to the bottom. Highly suggest those two products! In conclusion, this pool was a great purchase for me and my family. We routinely have all 6 of us in the pool at the same time and never feel cramped or way too close together. Certainly took longer than 30 minutes to set up... but my team consisted of my daughter & myself. Ladder directions are nonexistent, but we figured it out. This was really easy to put up. Holds up to a beating from my grandchildren. Holds up to a lot of splashing. 3-Ply Vinyl with reinforcement. Make sure you put on leveled ground. I have this on patio blocks covered with mason sand and 4 layers of Rhino underlayment. Protects underside. Holds 1900 gallons. Use ECO EU50 Pool tech Heat Pump. Just enough to keep from middle May to middle September just north of Chicago. We are in it almost every day with the grandkids. They love it. ... show more

Had this pool for 5 years now. So much easier to care for than my 18ft. I've left it up for 4 harsh winters and it has survived. Pump didn't last long. Bought a new one with timer. Shuts on and off every 6 hours. I do miss a bigger pool but my age tells me that this is perfectly fine. Just right.

Love this little pool. I keep it up year round now. Had it one year. I have bought tons of accoutrements for it. Improved filter, skimmer and now an electric pool heater and corded dolphin vacuum. It takes a lot of daily work to keep it clean and usable. It’s cute and I even gave it in my front yard. I live near Venice beach CA. I have a very small yard. If I were to do it over. I’d get the 18’ one though ... show more

Second year installing this pool couldn’t be happier. The pump does a great job filtering the water. It take about 3 hours to cycle all of the water through it which saves on your electricity bill. Leveling is probably the hardest part but as long as you’re close it’s great. Took about 4 hours to install and start filling. ... show more
